Wait, what, I'm confused! Are you the guy that use to train as a pilot, did the folding mirror mod and learned piano at the time I've visited you?
Yea, that's me, I'm half way though a dental degree now

Lower steat brackets for standard get seats would be good
These seem to be a requested thing. Are the standard seats set too high?

Hi Cookbot! You may remember me from the TT forum, just sold my TT and got a HR instead! í ½í¸ Be good to see your skills put to use here
Haha, yea, I do! How you finding the HR? Have you found out how illegal you can get with a redlined 3rd gear yet?
-
Awesome I take one for sure been looking at a new one what logo will it be just a Z or 350z etc
And turn around í ½í¸ƒ
I quite like the Z with the bits ether side, but it can be anything as long as it's not over complicated. Any thing that can be made into a vector can be put onto CAD. Time scale could be a while as I'm currently doing the Mk2 TT knobs.
-
I might draw something up then. As for a bit to make it mate with the leather by flaring it out, so it looks better than the one in the picture. That's shaped like that because the TT has a rubber boot that it needs to fit into specially.

I know, it's been ages. I had to sell the 350 after redundancy and never got what it was worth, but needed a quick sale. Could maybe see myself having another one though when I've turned the TT into a track machine.
If you're curious, this is what I'm in now. Mine is the blue one:

Welcome back and liking that heat shield, ...looks pretty well made.
How are you making those if you don't mind answering? Is it laser cut steel?
Yea, drawn in cad then lasered and CNC bent so they're all the same. I've done loads of laser cut plates and might have a look if anything will work well on the Z.

Yep, it's a proper thread but then uses a grub screw to hold it in the right position when you reach the bottom of the thread. Otherwise the engraving wouldn't line up. Pricing for these for the TT is currently £53 delivered and I expect it to stay the same.

Hello there, a few of you may remember me and the various bits and bobs I used to offer. Well, I'm sort of back, although in my current situation, I can't afford a 350 and have had to settle for a Mk1 TT for the time being.
Just thought I'd let you all know I'm back in the members area with various bits and bobs and always open to ideas of things to make if there's enough interest. For example, here's a heat shield that I was requested to make for the Audi S3 boys, came out really well and are proving popular.
Anyone have any parts they've seen but don't exist, are hard to obtain or are a blatant rip off?
Also, who's around I still might recognise? Shire350 etc?

I currently make a knob for the Mk1 TT and it has been met with great praise. I was wondering if there would be interest on here for the 350z? As you can see, the current one has a TT logo on it, but I can replace this with a Z logo or anything that the masses may desire and can change the colours to suit. Is this something that may be of interest to people?
Spec wise, it's a 60mm diameter ball with an anodised finish, so looks like new even years after fitting (my test one is coming up to 3 years and still looks brand new!)
Ideas below if you please.
Thanks, Paul

Many of you will already know how much a difference polyurethane bushes can make to the drive of the car, those of you who don't, just have a little search of the forum and you'll find out if this is a mod for you or not. If so, I'm able to offer any of the superpro kits at very good prices due to being a distributor for them, not just a stockist. I can get individual bushes, but as most want to fit more than one at a time, it makes sense to buy the kits and the savings they allow.
Here are the major kits and their prices:
Kit 5261K
RRP £1185 My price delivered £1066.50
Kit 5261ADJK - includes caster alignment correction bushes
RRP £1290 My price delivered £1161
Kit 5261K-RG (Running Gear)
RRP £976.35 My price delivered £878.71
Kit 5261FK (Front Suspension)
RRP £320.32 My price delivered £288.29
Kit 5261RK (Rear Suspension
RRP £656.02 My price delivered £590.42
Like I said, I can get any other bush, but here are the major kits.
Contact me for more info or have a look at my heath robinson website here where I'll eventually get round to putting more 350z stuff on as time goes by (and my degree allows!) There's a contact button and phone number on there though.

Dear Mr Cookbot, cookie, one was wondering if one might have one more of ones mirror folder cct for one to buy from one so one can fit it to ones car. If one has one and one could let one know, one would be eternally grateful.

Nismo induction kit. Cost the world and was a ball ache to fit due to the removing of the water bottle.

Those who are waiting for theirs to arrive, I'm waiting on some fuse holders. If anyone else is interested, i should have about 4 spare.
Pm for details, cookie.

The 'inner child' came out yesterday.... lol Coming home from buying some dear petrol a Focus ST sat behind me, nothing wrong with it, just sitting there. Coming up to a dual carridgeway, I noticed peeking out from behind the Focus... an Astra VXR... got to the carridgeway and both shot past me (obviously...) like bullets. I'm not one to fart about, but I will on occasion still like to put the foot down (hey im only 25, got a lot to learn ). I just sat n' thought, wonder by how much the Zed would be away from them had I been in one and planted the right foot?? Anyone any experience (whether on a track like crail or something) of how much faster a Z is?. I've seen a vid of a Z pulling away from a Type R civic and it... fairly nukes it. But what about ST's and VXRs which have a bit more over the 200bhp side. Is 40-60bhp enough to show (ahem) them the right way? As you may tell I respect but I am not a fan of hot hatches, by which I mean I'd rather buy something that looks special enough, not just a focus or astra with a paint scheme
Don't get blinded by factory BHP figures.
Your after an 05 zed which has a reported 276 bhp from the factory. A lot of older cars have been dyno's and been shown to be running significantly less than that (circa 240 bhp). Add the zeds weight into the equation againt a 1300kg FWD hot hatch and any race is going to be a lot closer than you'd think.
Don't buy a zed because you think your gonna be king of the local Traffic Light Grand Prix's. If that's your bag, buy an Evo.
If traffic light GP is your bag then buy an R1 Your arse hole will be twitching at about 10Hz though

In good condition although the red 'O' has come off (read a mate peeled it off!)
£50 for both.

Those still waiting, I've had to order some more scotch locks as I've only just realised the bag of 100 I had have ran out! Should be here wed/thur I imagine.

Glad you like it. Yea, there's a definite knack to fitting the switch too!
-
Probably cost £30 in delivery fees!
-
Yes, buy a Z....Nuff said! If I wasn't poverty stricken I'd have another one.

£40, in VGC. The passenger side is as new (no surprises there) and the driver side has a small indentation where the right heel has been. Looking for collection due to their bulk and weight.
(LOL, worlds worst pictures, but they're in good nick!)
'ello 'ello, I'm back (sort of!)

Does any one have a link to a product that works, so I can get an idea of what it needs to do and how much they are?
