I used Town & Country near Truro, found them very good, they do fixed price servicing on the Zeds.

Black 54 plate in Falmouth today.

I see a gunmetal 56 plate rag with an after market exhaust top driving towards Truro most evenings, and I keep seeing a black 04 coupe in Truro parked near the skate park.

Yeah. I've got a E92 330i, very pleased with it. Not got the low down grunt of the zed, and it doesn't feel as nimble. But I needed a car with rear seats, and as far as compromises go, it's very good.

I'm sticking with RWD though, I've been converted!

After 4 fantastic years of Zed ownership I've had trade it in for something a little more family friendly. It has easily been the best car I've owned, never missed a beat. I will miss it greatly.
Cheers,
Steve

Last couple of weeks I have seen a Black 55 plate on my daily commute betweem Truro and Falmouth.

Let a GM roadster out on Wednesday in Truro on the way to Falmouth, saw a GM coupe in Falmouth today with a after market spoiler (***LEW).

First a ginger 05 plate going down Carnon Downs by-pass, then a black one on the Falmouth by-pass (didn't see reg plate).

No, I was on foot, guessed you would though I was a bit odd if I just came over chat about your car. I've got a Blade 53, though seldom see other Zeds when I'm in it, usually only see them when driving the wife's Accord.

Saw a nice black 54 one outside Argos in Falmouth on Sunday, and a yellow 370z going towards Truro lunchtime today.
What's the etiquette driving a 350z, is it acceptable to flash your lights at a 370z?

Sorry to revive an old thread like this, but have noticed a similar issue with mine. At the risk of sounding a bit dim, how do you go about cleaning out the before mentioned gunk?

Hi Guys,
Done a search but no joy, need to service the Zed in Jan/Feb. So need to find a place to get her looked at. Any ideas?
Last year had a deal for a labour free major service at a Mitsubishi garage that has since closed.

I have a 53 Blade Silver one, I work at Treliske so often around Truro.

Saw a Zed reg RYN** at Arch Hill in Truro, I was in the wife's Accord so didn't flash.

Spoke to my local exhaust chap about fitting this, he asked if the gaskets are supplied or do I need to get them separately?
thanks, steve

I bought the cover and a single gasket from you a couple of months ago. Is this all I need?
-
Thank you Alex, do I need a Plenum gasket then?

I have done a search, but have found conflicting information.
I have the parts and my father-in-law is a mechanic, he would replace the part but is concerned that the inlet manifold would need to be removed.
The general impression I get is that it's ~1.5 hour job, but the only detailed description I have found (link to american forum) suggests its more 7 hours (for both sides) and it eluded to the inlet manifold being removed, see below.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Steve
