  2. Hi All,

I am getting no fluid ot the windscreen whilst headlights and rear are OK. I have checked for one-way value sticking but it isn't there so it cant be that !

With the bumper off I can hear the pump motor for windscreen whirrs but doesn't pump fluid so I guess it's a complete replacment?

So has anyone have one (it is the white topped one as against blue) or have any ideas on where to get a replacement motor/pump.

    Any help appreciated

    Thx

    Neil

  3. Hi all,

So now I'm confused ! There's a small cover behind the rear strut and a vertical tonneau under the strut but is there a horizontal cover that hides the trunk-space in front of the strut bar ?

If so where can we get one ?

    Cheers

  4. I agree with being much more comfortable if you at least get the chance to see what they are doing.

Unfortunately many workshops use the HSE (Health and Safety) argument to send you off to their waiting room and prevent you seeing what they're upto - let alone actually getting to discuss anything with the service engineers. Same happens on MOTs.

It was great to be able to wander around as my Zed was up on the jacks for it's P3 at DMS the other week and get a looksee at the underside.

I was there because the Forum recommended Dixon and his team and I have to say they were true to everyone's word and I would recomend to anyone else - especialy if you want to see for yoursleve what they're upto.

  5. Thx for feedback all,

Following positive coments from the forum, I went over to DMS for a ful P3 and well worth it. As you all noted, they are very helpful and let you watch and wander (as noted in "Do you trust them" post).

Added bonus was that despite the service invoice from seller, the diff oil clearly hadn't been changed. Now comfortable that I can press on with good oil all round !

  6. Hi guys,

Just got my Azure 350Z and grinning all day - now i know what i've been missing !

Anyway, car is 2005 with 21k miles and looking at P3 service receipt that was just (300 miles ago) done, it was not done at Nissan dealer and they used:

    - Carlube 5W/30 semi-synthetic (which comes from Tetrosyl in USA) for engine

    - Comma 80w90 differental oil.

I don't know if anyone has any thoughts good or bad on these but with such a young engine I would like to know I have got the best in there and I am prepared to have these changed again if any doubts.

    Cheers

    Neil
