  1. What does that actually say, am i being a bit thick?

(dont take this to mean it doesnt have the value your saying just not sure what its mean to say - making it more special then a normal plate)

No worries mate, your not thick. It has no real meaning. I've seen the BYE plate of a few powerful sports cars over the years with the BYE catching my eye. I like the plate because it looks clean and simple, the less letters and numbers the better in my eyes.

I first saw a very similar plate on a black twin turbo supra "K30BYE", I mentioned it to my partner and she bought me the one I'm selling.

It could mean you have enough power to leave another vehicle behind (lots on people liked it when I visted the Nurburgring last summer lol)

It could be a plate you just want people to remember, there is another 350Z in my town with K15BYE. People notice the plate and think its me, they dont read it just assume it was me lol.

Its like any private plate in the world, unless you understand or the reason behind the plate has been explained if there is one they mean nothing to passers by if you get me.

A lot of people buy them just to hide the age of there vehicle, if you didnt know anything about Z's people could think its a new vehicle.

  2. Hi all, I use to own a Nissan 350Z. I got the plate K50BYE bought as a present from my girlfriend. With the Civic not been as fast as the Z I'd like to sell the plate to fund a new one. The plate is for sale on other forums as well.

I've spoke to a trader who deals with plates and they have offer me £400 to sell the plate on my behalf. I would rather sell it direct at a better cost to the buyer. :bigthumb:

  3. Hi, up for sale is my carbon intake pipe with silicon sleves. This was previously sold but when I removed it I noticed a small kink in the pipe where I have cut it down to fit the O.E filter box. The pipe was designed to fit an aftermarket filter. The last buyer didn't want to risk it taking in air. I've used the pipe on my own vehicle for months and never had a problem. The fit is tight but once in place it doesnt move.

You can clearly see from the images attached the kink in the pipe. The carbon hasnt split or cracked but there is a kink there. If anyone would like further images or info please just ask.

  4. Weird Alex, I just bought the exact kit of eBay, if I had known I would have had this along with the mats

I was quite sceptical but the car does definitely idle a little smoother now, and it was really easy to fit

Thanks for the feed back Dave, glad your happy with the mats..

Come on people, first in wins lol. :teeth:

  6. The car looks B) and the price it's competitive but, selling it because of the wedding :nono:

I'm getting married in 4 months and she can plan and do what ever she want but, I keep the Zed (expenses included )

Evening matie, to be honest the wedding is expensive and I do love the car to bits but I need the cash. Theres nothing to stop me buying another one in a few years time when funds are better. I did know in my hearts of hearts it wouldnt last for ever but as the saying goes "its better to have loved than not love at all" or something like that anyway lol. :teeth:

  7. Ok after looking at the current market and been offered silly money from the stealers I have reduced the car for a quick sale. Working in the motor trade I know the vehicle books in Glasses Guide at Retail £10700 and Trade £8275. This is by no means a bottom book car but I do really need to sell her soon.

When looking for this car I looked at about 8 and this is by far the cleanest I found. I have cleaned and maintained the car very well and I'm sure the first to view it will buy it.

Please note the private plate will not be sold with the vehicle.

Well the time has come to sell my 350. Over the last 16 months I feel I have only improved her with little bits here and there. The reason for sale is purely money, we plan to get married next year and need all the cash we can get. Some of you have followed the progress and little mods Ive done via my progress thread.
