  1. Price - £13750

    Mileage - 21,000

This 2007, (57 plate) Nissan 350z coupè is in excellent condition with no scratches or dents to the bodywork. I am the second owner of this car and have owned it for just over two years. It looks absolutely stunning and in the time I have owned the car, it has never given me any problems whatsoever. It has covered just 21,000 miles from new.

It has been well looked after and I have always cleaned it regularly using Meguiar’s cleaning products. Other than a couple of tiny stone chips the finish to the paintwork is superb and the paint feels as smooth as glass.

It is a fantastic car to drive and has all the features you could ever imagine, the interior is in excellent condition with no scuffs or tears to the leather. Features include: Full black leather interior, BOSE premium sound system with CD multi-changer and upgraded front tweeters, Bluetooth hands free calling, electric heated seats with drivers height adjustment, air conditioning, multi functional leather steering wheel, multiple airbags including front and side, ABS, traction control, remote central locking, alarm, immobiliser, power assisted steering, electronic stability programme, electric windows, 6 speed gearbox and cruise control.

The car has 300 BHP and is the facelift GT model. External features include: Metallic black paint, xenon headlights with washers, heated and folding mirrors, rear spoiler, Brembo brakes and LED tail lights.

The 18" Rays alloy wheels are in very good condition, the fronts have a light scuff on each but the rears are immaculate.

The front tyres have 4.5mm of tread and the rears have approximately 2.5mm.

The car also has the following extras:

The front chrome grille is a £200 extra which I will include (it can easily be removed if it’s not to your liking or I can do this for you).

The car has a Navman S100 satellite navigation system installed that automatically turns on when you open the centre cubby.

The car has full Nissan dealer service history, the last service was September 2010.

I will include the remaining tax (until July 2011). The MOT expires in September 2011.

Please PM me with any questions or queries or if you would like to view the car.

  2. PS What frequency did you tune the port / box to?

I do not have the equipment to measure this, I just followed the manual for the subs recommendations ie internal volume, port position, diameter and length. According to the manual this should give 38 - 40Hz. I mainly listen to Indie/Rock music and find it excellent for this! :band:

The setup is a massive improvement over the Bose system and well worth the effort, the front Hertz component speakers are excellent.

  3. A Hertz Energy ES200.3 Sub woofer to an enclosure I designed myself on CAD, this fits where the original Bose was situated, but turned out to be a right b*s**rd as it's extremely tight in there!

The volume of the enclosure was calculated to match that recomended by the manufacturer (20.6 Litres).

After making a couple of cardboard templates the finished item fits perfect and due to Wickes putting the wrong label on the MDF, only cost £4 to make!

  4. After weeks of ripping my z to bits I have finally finished installing my new amp, speakers, sub and sub enclosure.

I have a Pioneer AVH-4100DVD fitted and the system is now sounding brill!

I installed new wires throughout and left the original loom, amp etc in place for an easy swap over should I sell the car!

I have fitted an Infinity Amp into the glove box behind the passanger seat, this is mounted to a matt so that it can be pulled out for easy adjustment:

  5. If you still want bluetooth hands free with that head unit you have to buy the Pioneer BTB200 adapter, tells you all about it in the manual. I have the 4100DVD and it works really well with the adapter.

  6. That sounds good then!

This happened to me also about a year ago when i removed my original headunit, when I took it to my dealer they said it was showing that communication had been lost between the ECU and the centre panel, which it had cause i had disconnected it! They cleared the fault and the car was then fine.

It must be the same thing this time when i disconnected the battery and centre console, just wanted to check though.

    Thanks all for your help

  7. I will have a look for the models when i get home.

*NB ANYONE ATTEMPTING ONE OF THESE BOXES - you need to be super carefull with subwoofer depth. At the angle that the sub sits, the magnet is extremely close to the base of the box, and if you make the box deeper then it doens't fit in the space. It is very, very close and from memory took around 4 or 5 design itterations over several weekends untill i cracked it.

Ikarus, that would be great thanks. I would then be able to maximise my design, work out the volume, and choose a sub to suit. I'd then CAD model the sub as well to check it clears etc

  8. Update,

I have reset the light using the procedure and it is now clear.

The code that was displayed was the light flashing: Slow 10 times, fast 10 times, fast 10 times, fast 10 times.

Can anyone tell me what this code means? I'm sure it was battery related but would like to confirm.

    Cheers

  9. Two very impressive examples,

Ikarus, do you still have the CAD model for the glovebox sub enclosure and would you be willing to email it me? That is exactly what i'm after and that would be a great starting point for me, ie angles and mounting positions. I just want one for behind the drivers seat (UK) as i have my amp fitted in the otherside already.

I would try and maximise the dimensions, work out the volume and then buy the sub to suit.

    Cheers

  10. Hello,

Whilst I was attempting to fit a new headunit at the weekend with the centre console removed and the battery earth disconnected, by mistake I tried to start the car! Upon refitting everything I notice that a orange light was lit on the dash, it's the one which looks like catylist converter. The user manual says this is the malfunction indicator.

Is there any way I can attemp to reset this myself?

I have found this guide but I'm unsure as to whether this will reset this light:
