  1. Ladies & Gentlemen,

The time has come to say goodbye. After 7 loving years of ownership, I've decided to sell up.

I can honestly say I've never loved a car more & it will be sad seeing her go, but needs must (Wedding!)

    So here we go....

    2003 Sunset UK GT,

    Rays alloys (Sprayed black)

    Orange leather heated seats

    Bose sound system

    Mobile phone bluetooth adaptor

    Boot cargo net

    Upgraded LED rear lights

    Zunsport front grill

Nismo V1 (Genuine) rear spoiler (black on sunset)

Likwid Art red Z rear & side badges

    Falken 452 tyres all around

Japspeed K1, y-pipe back, exhaust system

    D1 Spec throttle controller

    83600miles

    6 months tax

    Mot until December

    The bad points...

The two front tyres are close to legal limit and will need replacing

The rear spoiler has a hairline crack on the base on the passenger's side (where someone decided to use it to open & close the bootlid!!!)

The drivers seat is worn on the lumbar support.

    Has a few interior scratches.

The paintwork has a few chips and marks, but find an 11 year old car that hasn't.

I cant find the receipts for the past 2 services. But be assured these have been completed, as I always get a service with my MOT.

  2. She will love it bud. Fantastic little cars.

Things to look out for would be the old tin worm (rust). Classics are notorious for it. Worst places are boot pan, floor, door bottoms and subframes. Rear subs more than front. So get down on the floor and give it a good poke (oooo err). The mini suffers from bad earthing problems, so check all the straps in the engine bay and boot.

If your looking to do any engine mods for power then I suggest going for an older one with an A series engine. If not the more modern classics (1995ish) have mpi engines, 1.3 usually. They have enough power and are more reliable than the older models.

Lastly I would do some serious research into the car you are buying, like you would any other. A lot of minis have been rebuilt from scratch. So check the vin plates match the log, as some will have been 'altered' to get cheaper tax.

    I think that's everything.

Anymore questions, just drop me a PM

    Cheers Woody

  3. Just got back from the run.

First things first, big thanks to Neal for organising the routes. Some fantastic roads and great views. Shame some of it was spoiled by typical Sunday drivers!!! But when they were taken care of the driving was great :drive1 .

Secondly, big thanks to Vik for organising the pub and food. The place was very nice and the food was just as good. Nice to meet some of the Scottish lot, a bunch of nice guys and gals indeed. Sorry we didnt stay long, but football called

Sad to end on a bad note but.... (Excluding Al and Lee) Where was everyone from the North East??? 3 cars turned out! A very poor show indeed. The Scots put us to shame.

I expected people to drop out, but 3 cars

Anyway. Thanks for everyone who came. Hopefully we can do it again sometime and we will bring a few more people
