  1. Got some more bits to add for sale after my beloved Zed went to its new owner.

All based in Milton Keynes, and prices are for collection. P&P is at buyers cost.

First up, an individual Invidia Rolled tip exhaust finisher. I ended up having to buy another pair as i 'lost' one. These are not cheap to buy, and generally only come in pairs. Spent a fair while glatting and polishing this, so its pretty shiny. £50

Original DE airbox, with original Nissan filter. Filter looks hardly used, and the box itself is in good condition, no cracks etc. Great if you want to do the Rev Up mod to it, or you want to return to stock. £25

Original DE intake pipe. Does not come with the MAF im afraid, but in good condition. £15

Pair of stock tail lights. Should have put these back on my Zed and sold the Facelift ones on their own. Dont be a fool like me, buy these! All working with bulbs etc. One locating lug is snapped, but does not affect fitment, if anything, it aids it. £70 the pair

Drivers side window switch. All present and correct, full working order. £40

Got it from the US at great cost. Has a slight mark at the bottom, which iv taken a photo of. £25

Never got around to fitting this Kinetix plenum. I modified it to remove the large Kinetix script on the top, and smoothed out as best i could all the large join lines on the inside face to improve airflow. Has been painted in cackle finish black paint. Just needs a gasket to mount to the top of the engine. If you dont know about these they are pretty rare, and they do the job of a plenum spacer, as well as looking alot better, as well as having the clearance for the strut brace. £100

All parts are based in Milton Keynes, with collection prefered, but can post at buyers cost. Prices are +P+P

    £100

Set of Original 18" Rays alloys. Took off my car when i got my 19's

Not perfect, with some very light kerbing to them, and some bubbles and the odd small mark. Clean up really well, but if you wanted them perfect you would need a refurb. Forget the tyres, the rears have almost 0 tread, and the fronts are unevenly worn. £350

  3. Fitted a 48L Pro Alloy tank over the winter. These are baffled alot better than the standard 38L tank, so makes track driving alot better from the fuel starvation point of view, and give you more range. Not cheap to buy, but well worth it.

  4. Roof on is a pain, roof off is simples. Once you are in and strapped up, its a great drive. That Harrop one would be a beast, lots of cash spent on it, and well worth 14k. Stage 2 SC cars are about 12ish, and that has had well over 2k extra spent on it.

  5. I do indeed have a SC VX, 240ish hp, Nitrons, 4pots, Milltek Exhaust. Amazing fun. Rebuilt mine mechanically over the winter, and very easy cars to work on, which is why i bought it. For pure driving pleasure, you will be hard pushed to find something that fast, and that involved for the money.

Clutches are abit of a pain to change, though last well. Being the 2.2 Ecotec, the engines are pretty bullet proof, though dont go much beyond 240-250hp without expecting the engine to fail. There are a few SC'd cars that come up for sale, but you maybe better buying a standard car, and playing with it yourself. There are a few people around that can SC them for you pretty cheap if you wanted to go down that route, or have a go yourself if your pretty handy. VX220.org is a really good forum, with some knowledgible people on there. Dont expect the same build quality as you get from a Zed, they are at different ends of the spectrum, you will probably play hunt the rattle at various points in your ownership. lol

Very sensitive cars to geo and set up, tyre pressures etc. Steering racks dont tend to last for ever, you can get them rebuilt, or buy brand new ones, both standard, and quick ratio, but they are £400+.

There is an issue with the rear subframe (steel), where it meets the back of the chassis (Ally). Basically, there is a steel shim in there, and that holds water, and you get galvanic corrosion, sometimes are worse than others, but its worth doing at some point if its not already been done. You will find some cars are Cat C-D, and mostly that is because the car had damaged clam shells, which make up the front and rear bodywork. These were very expensive when available, so wrote the car off with only some comestic damage to the fibreglass. Coldel was great with helping me buy mine.

  6. Wow what an amazing deal for someone on here!

    GLWTS

Thought id price it realistically, maybe should have started a little higher. Someone will be getting a great Zed though, still cant believe i hit send on the advert to be honest, but 3 cars is a little excessive.

  7. Well, it is with a very heavy heart, but the Zed needs a new home. :headhurt: It hardly gets driven now i have the VX220, and its time that it goes to someone that is going to use it. Iv owned the car since August 2010, and it has always been my pride and joy, and to be honest, still is. The VX is a weapon, but I took the Zed out yesterday for its MOT (Rear fog bulb colour caused it to fail, but this will be replaced ASAP), and the feel good factor was incredible, it will be missed, probably more than I currently realise

It is a 54 plate GT, with some mod's made throughout the years of ownership to help that smile factor.

Being honest, its not perfect, but its 12 years old, and if i wasnt so busy, and was not selling, id get the work sorted myself Unfortunately, my life is stupidly busy, and time is always at a premium. My daily driver is the Juke, with a VX220 for summer fun, and the wifes Leon Cupra R, the Zed has been SORN since October last year, as I didnt want to drive it during the winter.

Front and back bumpers were resprayed last year, and a minor incident in 2012 led to a new drivers door skin, and wing mirror being fitted. The door skin has recently picked up a small ding on the one or 2 occasions iv actually used the car, but il do my best to get this sorted asap. Car has quite abit of history, and invoices, though alot of the work was done by myself, so service history is not as extensive as it could be. I have alot of receipts for bits iv got over the years.

Car was Evo Magazine featured with me (No204 Page 100)

    Specs

UK spec 54 GT 276hp DE engine 83k miles, Leather seats good condition for ages, very little bolster wear, Bose speakers. 350Z Embroidered mat set, inc boot mat, Luggage net for rear. Oil and filter changed at 80k. (Uses no oil between services)

    Upgrades

19" Varrstoen Wheels fitted with MPSS tyres, all of which have good tread left on them. (Wheels would benefit from a refurb, as some of the edges are damaged from parking)

Invidia True Dual exhaust system, with Invidia Sports Cat's fitted (MOT friendly and no Rasp)

Clutch was changed at 58k by an Audi RS mechanic, who also fitted a LW flywheel at the same time. (Helps the pick up of the engine)

Lightweight Pulley's (Fitted in 2011 and helps the pick up of the engine)

Eibach adjustable ARB's (These really transform the handling, and help with agility)

New Meister R Zeta S coilovers and a pair of adjustable Camber Arms, and full Geo sorted by Sly at Kaiser Motorsport in 2014

Pioneer CD/MP3 head unit, with reversing camera fitted. (Bluetooth phone module included but not fitted)

Super Pro Bannana Arm bushes replaced by Horsham Developement in 2011

DBA discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads all round, front are nearly new, HEL braided lines fitted. (calipers in good condition)

    Clear rear indicator lenses

Interior and Exterior LED bulbs fitted, along with Silver indicator bulbs (Alot cleaner looking)

2006+ LED rear brake lamps. (Massive difference over the pre facelift ones)

Clear front bumper reflectors (Cleaner looking than the tinted ones)

    Tinted side and back windows

K+N Tyhoon intake fitted (Enclosed and force fed induction system)

    Bonnet lifters

Front number plate holder removed, and holes in bumper filled. (Though original holder still kept if required)

Zed badges on bonnet and boot lid to match wing badges, all other badges removed.

There are probably other bits and bobs that iv missed along the way, but hope this gives a good picture of what is a really well looked after and much loved car. As stated, car failed MOT on rear fog light bulb, and is currently Sorn, but this will be sorted within the next week ready for a new owner. Central cubby cover has the usual mark on it where it makes contact with the top piece, I have a new cover, but have not got round to fitting it.

Car is based in Milton Keynes, 5 minutes from Jnc 14 of the M1.

    £7500
