Not easy to find 350Z friendly offset at this price. Sure if I were to order Volks....

Hello stranger, hope you’re well? Offsets are +33 and they are indeed a gunmetal spoke… With that kind of offset, can I use 20mm spacers? or will it stick out too much? also do people think they'll look good on a black zed? thanks I have a set of almost identical wheels that I custom painted black. The look great!!! Offsets were +30 all around. I put 20mm spacers front and rear and it gave the car an amazing stance. I did have to roll my fenders though, which allowed more clearence and makes me think now that I should go with a set of 25mm rears, for an even more aggressive look. So, to answer your question, 20mm will make your setup look great, but you will have to get your fenders rolled. If I were to do it all over again, I'd go with 25mm rear, with a 9.5 width and +30/33 offset wheel.

How do these compare to the Ferodo DS2500?

I dunno, maybe you're right. I'm in Greece, so I can't really say if a price is good or not. I just think the list of extras makes it a good buy. Besides, cars are generally much more expensive here, so 15-16k for such a car ... in our dreams, lol!

I remember this car, it was on sale about the time I joined the club. Very impressive! I'd go for it! I wouldn't be turned off by the price tag, it's got so many extras on it that it's worth it Should the time come, you can always part it out, provided you have the time for it.

Yup, and even on the same dyno but different shops, it can vary, depending on different ..well, variable settings on the dyno. I don't think there is fixed %, but as you said 15-20% is what most people go by.

As I've mentioned in other threads, I bought the Haltech Platinum and a vortech tuner kit. My tuner was ecstatic about the ECU, in his own words, it's the best ECU for this car, bar none. It can handle FI greater than any piggyback could, especially if you're going for high HP. It's got features that the other big player (aka FCON V Pro) doesn't offer. I can't be arsed to do a head to head comparison, but you can do some research and figure it out for yourself. I searched around for a few weeks, asked a few tuners and they all suggested this ECU over any other currently on the market. This might sound stupid, but I was initially interested in the FCON. So I called a few dealers to get quotes etc. One of them even suggested I went with the Haltech. He was an HKS dealer, mind! Many US cars run them and the results have proven fantastic. Me, I think it might be overkill for a N/A application. A piggyback can probably offer all that a Haltech can at half the price. But for a serious N/A build or any FI application, you won't find a better ECU out there currently. Just my 2 cents.

+1 I don't think even a 210hp Works can trouble a Z, if the Z driver is not caught off guard.
