  1. Lots of discussion recently about brakes, I've just bought a new set of OE spec brake discs and pads (haven't been on a track day for a while now).

Found a deal on eurocarparts this weekend. 10% off with code SERVICE10 and they stock:

    Brembo front disks - £137.98

    Brembo front pads - £29.99

    Pagid rear disks - £115.98

    Pagid rear pads - £29.49

    Discount - £31.34

    DHL Postage - £1.95

    TOTAL - £284.05

I think that's pretty good vs Nissan dealers. I know you can buy Mintex etc for cheaper... Just thought some others might find this interesting, especially price of genuine Brembo front brake setup.

  2. Good condition used set of RAYS 18" wheels with worn Bridgestone Potenza RE050A that are below the legal limit. I bought these a while back with the intention to fit slicks onto them and track my 350Z, four years later and they are still in the garage unused... They have kerb marks as shown in the pictures.

Pickup from Hertfordshire. I think courier to Mainland UK will cost around £40.

    £375

  3. does it not seem odd to kind of slate modified cars then an advert to a forum where people modify them?

I see your point, but the forum is great for the full spectrum of owners. I haven't modified mine but I still use the really great user guides on fixing issues, tyre advice, brake setup advice etc. This forum is a great resource for any 350Z owner. :-)

  4. As some of you will have seen I recently launched a new digital magazine called MotorStars. I have managed to upload the 350Z feature article so you can look at it without having to purchase the magazine. The free 350Z-uk advert which Mike helped me with is there too. The link to the pdf of the 350Z article is here.

Issue Two is focusing on the best of British, covering the Ford Focus RS mk1, Lotus Exige Series 2 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage as the feature cars.

Link to the magazine in iTunes is here. Our website has links for BlackBerry newstand and the Readr App too here.

It been great to have feedback from so many people already with ideas of how to improve etc, if you have any suggestions please let me know!

  5. Many thanks for all the insights, really great to see that so many others really love owning the Z. I put all the quotes in an online resources section which is accessible from the magazine - thanks again to all the help with this!

The first issue went live today on iTunes  - if you would like to take a look it's here

  6. I am looking for several 1-2 lines quotes from owners of the Nissan 350Z that sum up their experience with the 350Z. They will be featured with full credit in a feature article for a new magazine called MotorStars. The digital mag is going to be launched early next year and will feature 3 cars each month that are great drivers cars as well as great ownership prospects. Full details of the mag are here on our website.

If you would like to help us out with a quote then please either reply to this thread, PM me or get in touch through our website contact form.

We are also going to be plugging this forum as the resource to come to find out more about the 350Z.

Thanks in advance for your help!

  7. i am sure i saw that car about 2 weeks ago driving down the high street!

350z was great for the ring - i wasn't pushing it to the limit or anything but the drive down was fabulous and the tunnels on the inner ring road in brussels really are something. i found the Z very surefooted and capable on the ring.

only things i am looking to change are mildly uprate brakes and possibly fit sports cats with a nismo panel filter. i am very happy with the car.

i went to a trackday at bedford soon after picking up the car and this highlighted that i would need some better braking! (maybe also different tyres - will search forum for all the advice and feedback from others)
