MOT Issue

Fitted a Invidia exhaust and Berks HFC's to my car about 8-9 months ago. Love the noise but now I have an issue getting it to pass an mot due to exhaust emissions.

CO and HC both pass but the Lambda reading falls outside specified limits.

CO= 0.03% Pass

HF= 26 PPM Pass

Fast idle = 1.096 Fail

2nd fast idle = 1.083 Fail

Is this common when HFC's are fitted?

How can I sort this without removing aftermarket system.

Will replacing both lambda sensors fix this?

No fault codes are being stored on ecu when I put the code reader on.

Replacing the sensor's will make no difference AFAIK - its the test equipment that is giving the high reading.

Yes common of HFC's - only advice is rag the car for a bit before the test - get here really hot the CAT's are more efficient when hot.

If that fails PM me I have another solution ;)

I replaced my decats with my original cats and it still failed :lol: my mate gave me something to shove in the petrol tank and drive it straight there and it passed straight away, think you can get it in halfords

Can you elaborate on what that 'something' was plse?
