Looking very good mate

See you waxed the whole car in one go and then buffed? I normally do one panel at a time but guess different strokes for different folks ;)

Yeah the HD wax says to let it sit for 10-15mins so I figured just do the whole car and then go back to the first panel and start buffing :)

Is that hand buff or DA polisher mate? Pattern looks like a DA but seems like you got a very consistent polishing hands B)

All done by hand my friend ;)

where did you get the eye lids from? what do they fit like? i have a HR too and some of them just don't fit as good!

I got them off Steve at Redline Styling at the beginning of the year. They fit spot on  although I have heard of others not fitting quite so well

So today I drove up to meet Steve916 to help me with my auto folding mirror mod. Turned out my wiring was correct but the splicing hadn't gone through the insulation. Once we'd done mine we did his one in about 20mins. All in all a good day with two of Flyboy's happy customers :)

Also I did the flip key mod today too :)

It works fine when I put the key in one way, but if I flip and try the other way it doesn't turn, but I can live with it...for now

Looks great with the V2 mate....

I have a JDM rear and Nismo spats for sale that would look awful good with that spoiler :D:stir:

Thanks Cal :) I did see your for sale bits to see if I wanted anything, but rear bumper wise I've got my heart set on a chargespeed :cloud9:

Simple swap over mate. Bought these off eBay

Them get the key cut at your local, I'd remove the key blades and give it to them, will be easier for them. Mind you they will warn you that it may not work but that's down to you. When he cut mine it looked fine, but like I mentioned the key only works when I put it in one way and not the other. But it's fine for me for now.

It's easy to swap them over, just a bit fiddly but take your time

Brill, how come you can't get the key cut both sides?

Or use the blade from the old key?

He did cut both sides but I don't think one side cut to the exact grooves as the original. Although it must be an extremely small discrepancy as I can't notice it with the naked eye, but just goes to show how sensitive the key barrel in the zed is. I got mine cut at the Timpson stand in Tesco, but may be worth trying to go to a specialist shop that just does that.

Nope, the OEM key blade is different to the flip key blade. You'll know what I mean when you take apart both keys. Just don't lose the spring in the flip key when you take it apart and remember which way the spring sits

So I fitted the Mines lip today. It fits ok, but there's a small gap where it meets the existing lip. The double sided tape didn't really do much in this case. I'll wait until I decide to get the chargespeed rear from RT and ask them to sort out the lip whilst they're at it. WIll do for now though :)
