flyboy Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Has anyone tried an Electronically Tuned intake instead of restricting the flow near the MAF sensor to speed up the air flow as most manufacturers do. ross27 Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 I assume that this is only beneficial for non mapped cars? I was always under the impression that a custom remap would carry out a "MAF calibration" which would take account of a cross sectional area of the intake at the point of the sensor? flyboy Posted May 10, 2014 Author Share Posted May 10, 2014 (edited) I decided the position of the intakes was not suitable for the area I live in Lots of big puddles and minor floods in the winter and mainly on single track roads.
