What a bl**dy stupid ridiculous idea. How can they even justify that?? :scare:

~ no room for fitting crooks in.

~ they could have had a much cheaper car that would have been more than capable of keeping up with what's on the roads today (eg; tuned new skyline GTR or similar)

~ what a waste of tax payers money/Police funds etc

....and I'd imagine it will be difficult to drive in poor conditions like snow & ice.

It's a loaner from McLaren, for the publicity. Like Lotus did a few years back.

You didn't think they actually bought one, did you?!

I like the way a £178k car becomes a £240k one in that article, though.

i think folks must have an Ekona filter.

I agree it's a publicity stunt that works for the police as well as mclaren. (Spellcheck tried to change that to Clarence )

Oh and inflation gets worse it's now 250k according to whacky :surrender: :surrender:

Obviously, it's a well known fact, 98.7% of the forum members have this filter activated

I expect to see that car in a worse state in the near future unless they use it exclusively for just driving to events to promote the police. Can imagine the fuel and servicing costs will be interesting. And I thought a p3 on my zed was expensive! Lol
