Shinjuku Posted May 4, 2013 Share Posted May 4, 2013 The bottom of my wiper arms (the short bit that bolts onto the scuttle panel) is all scabby and whit where the paint is coming off. It loos like the sort of thing thats going to be a typical problem so was wondering about what people do about it. samsniss350z Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 I had the same trouble with mine, they bubbled up like they had a really bad sexually transmitted disease (no comment), i took them off and rubbed them down and painted them with Hammerite as per Spurs Mad Dave. spursmaddave Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 A good tip is to put a bit of tape on the windscreen to show where the wipers are when you take them off as I am sure they move a bit when you pop the bonnet.
