Sorry, but I would never, ever, be guided by road testers who might get 5 minutes a whole host of different car types rather than specialist/performance models, hence why Autocar has rarely taken my money.

I find autocar excellent, so you dont read reviews on cars you are looking at buying? Dont get me wrong I would never buy a car on someone else's alone, view which I why I find it funny when I read the constant "what car should I buy?" posts.

Steve Sutcliffe and Chris Harris are two motoring journalists I have a lot of respect for. Not so much on the Vicky Parrot

I've just bought a brand new 370Z GT Edition for £26995, a £9k saving off list.

Was originally looking for used but at that price I couldn't refuse!

i'm looking for used..... which dealer was that with? i assume you took some finance for that deal?

I agree with Colin. And I have a distinct recollection of reading more than one review saying that the update to the suspension made a negligible difference.

IIRC was it not the damping they adjusted, mainly due to the shocking condition of our roads.

Maybe Nissan got sick of swapping out buckled RAYS.

Looking at the used prices of 370s. I'm failing to see why people think they're doing so badly. 2009 model GTs going for 17k. Seems about bang on for a 3-4 year old car.

I would agree as my 2010 is going for 18.5k

I happened to be passing a Nissan garage today after coming back from a customer, so all suited up. Dropped in to see if I could blag a test drive of a 370, but they didn't have any on the forecourt.

Probably best for my bank balance, modification budget, holiday money wedding fund

I drove a few before buying my GT Edition - couldn't tell the difference...............but then I'm not a reviewer or particularly great driver...............and before SMD kicks in - I kept up with him without any problem

More importantly the latter.

However, I'm not so sure Aimee would be that bothered, she'd probably rather drive the car than marry me!

Having met you.....

:boxing:

I agree, a 370 is much more sexy than me! Nothing to fight about :)
