Deklan Posted July 8, 2012 Share Posted July 8, 2012 Hi Guys, As some of you know i used to have a BMW E46, which had a massive build thread, can be found here http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f188/2000-deks-323-e46-lots-diying-t88359/ Well some little bits need doing to the zed and as the month has gone on I've started collecting a few items for her. To Start with the front badge has been coloured black, and the 350 rear badge has also undergone the same colour The window pillars have been wrapped in matt black as they were looking a bit scratched. Also the exhaust has started to blow, so I've bought a complete cat back system lol over the top but i wanted it so got a Y pipe and power flow exhaust system on the way! Only thing is the exhaust bolts are looking a bit shagged! Which should add some fun, will be fitting the new exhaust on saterday of next week. The Exhaust turned up and really couldn't wait to get it on, so tonight i cracked open a beer, jack up the z, and smashed on the zorst The job was really easy, i used to work on BMW's all the time and the ZED is lovely to work on! Everything is well layed out and everything comes off easy, unlike my old bm's :/ I purchased a Japspeed Y Pipe and a Powerflow backbox and center pipe. The system turned up and looked really great they were packaged amazing Complete with all new bolts and gaskets only annoying thing is i was left with all this crap!!! Next i got my Y pipe of it was in a bad state and defiantly required replacing. And then the whole system off. As i was aware it was in a bad state of repair, and I'm glad I'm replacing it, all came off very easy and nothing got broke Lot of space left over New Y Pipe and Zorst fitted And heres a vid of the finished effect https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151898946370024 Thats all for now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
