I don't think they are that bad, (I've seen much worse done to a Zed)

I'm with Ricey - I sort of like them.

Practicality may be an issue but variety is the spice of life. :)

A decent corner and there will be tyre damage, I'll put my money on it.

I am a bit confused to how you think going around a corner will lead to tyre damage

well lets compress the suspension and see what the tyre hits ......

The car looks as though its still on stock suspension which is soft. The body roll will be awful. I can guarantee that those will rub

If you can look at this picture and tell me that a decent pot hole or bit of body roll wont make this contact the arch then your bonkers

The front don't rub at all, the rear rubs slightly over humps but nothing too dangerous. I'm planning on getting the arch's rolled and that will solve the problem.

I edited my last post. I can guarantee a tight bend at with any sort of bump will cause those to catch on the front on a lock.

What I dont think you realise is that it probably not the metal arch its rubbing it'll be the arch liner

they'll be rubbing yes, but after seeing the beating someone elses tyres took from rubbing alot, its suprising how resiliant a tyre is. if i hadn't seen it with my own eye's i would agree with you neil.

i'd be interested to know what the handling will be like on that, as the increase in road contact at the front has got to change the handling characteristics. that and the increase in unsprung weight.

Youve asked for opinions ........ this backs up comments Ive made elsewhere on here, that cheap wheels will always look cheap. Having them this big (although I am surprised that they look to fit OK) will just draw more attention to them.
