Hotpot Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 I bought my Z from a dealer a little over a month ago. I have the statutory 3 month warranty only. When I travel at speed and LIGHTLY touch the brakes, there is a little bit of a shudder through the brake pedal. This shudder is not present with medium to heavy braking. It originally did it with more aggressive braking so I took it back to the dealer last week. However, it had seemed to ease off and the mechanic test driving it with me couldn't really feel any problem. They took it in the workshop and had a look at all the discs and said they were all fine except for a little line of rust on one of them. Is this just pad deposits or rust that is correcting itself or should I take it back again and ask them to check for disc thickness variation? Cheers.
