Nissan 370z 2008-2011 OEM multimedia satnav system upgrade, Bluetooth audio, newest GPS navi, USB input for Audio & video

This kit is based on the 08IT Clarion hardware, the same system is installed in 2010+ 370z with max. trim level

Possible to do this upgrade on any specs and trim level (if your 370z doesn't have a sat-nav/touchscreen display, you will get it)

Mines a 2009GT Ultimate, so Sat Nav bluetooth calls only and no touch screen, do I keep all the functionality of the stock system, so do I see cab temps etc when I turn the heat up and down?

Hi! Yes, it is the OEM Nissan system and ALL the factory functions will work + you will get the new functions We designed the special wiring harness, so you install it w/o the car's wiring cut and if you will sell your car, you can remove it, install the old one and resell our kit

I need to update my Satnav from 2011 to 2012. The sat nav cursor is always off map or off route. I dont think Nissan made new maps in the 370 after that. I was told that it needs to be done by the dealer only. Are you guys able to offer an update if i give the current version number?

 

Ps i didnt have this issue with a 2015 370z but my 2012 has that issue

Sounds like a gps fault not a map one. Roads haven’t moved co ordinates so you will only be off roads that were built post 2011.

I have the connect premium x9.0 Europe v8 full disk set including the software upgrade, try e bay or a Google search for them. You need to provide a code from the head unit to upgrade.

try resetting your location and drive main roads for while first, if it loses its way the the gps antenna or chip.

ill try that but as you said might need a sorting from the dealer. I contacted a seller he recommended the dealer as i sent him the version numbers.

Possible reasons:
1) head unit fault

2) GPS antenna / wiring fault

3) Any add-on device connected to the system may make some noises for GPS signal

4) Video in motion bypass devices may make noises for GPS signal

5) Imported car made for another region

possibly number 1 or 2. UK car. Its glitched before where the rear video stayed on going forward until I switched it off

Thanks will do. ill do a test drive on Friday to see if its still happening. I reset the navigation settings back to default yesterday. Ive also got my eyes on a gps aerial on ebay.

Apparently mine is a dealer update because its 2012 GT Edition. No sat nav disk reader behind the seat. Will this aerial or equivalent fix the issue?

You can get an aftermarket one much cheaper, I have one you can have/ try if you can cover postage?

as long as it has the correct connection all antenna are basic units, nothing special in a Nissan one.

Just got an early 2011 roadster.

can you advise on how I get a reversing camera to work on the nav system, which I believe is the Connect version.

 

At a later date I would I’d like to get Apple Play so your advice on that would be welcome too.
