Films you should have seen by now - bit of fun

Having subscribed to Disney+ due to a certain requirement to sit in the house a lot - have introduced my wife and 8 year old son to the world of Star Wars....we just watched Rogue One tonight, saw Solo the other day, watching episodes 4 to 9 last week. As my son sits upstairs in bed right now with some lego spaceships he has made going 'pew pew pew' it got me thinking, what movies have you never seen but you know you should have.

I haven't seen Quadrophenia, The God Father, Breakfast Club and people keep telling me to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Im as big a fan of gangster movies as you'd ever meet, but avoid The Godfather series, they're dreadful!  I've forced myself to watch them twice through as i was sure i must be wrong after the first viewing, but no i was right - they're crap!

I'd never seen The Shining until a couple of weeks ago... that was top of my list for things i cant believe i've never watched.

Birds of Prey (Harlequin) - Meh

Bad Boys for Life - load of old toot

1917 - Great film

Rambo Last Blood - its rubbish, but Its Rambo, what more is there to say B)

How can you be a film fan and have not watched the godfather films

Going by the last film i watched ‘den of thieves’ its a good film with a good twist would recommend and its on netflix too:wave:

If you want to watch a twisted film ‘platform’ is odd but again worth a watch

Den of Thieves is probably my favourite film of the last 3-4 years.

I don't believe this - AVOID the Godfather - did you mean 3? - that is poor - but one and two are CAST IRON classics.

What else don't you like Jaws, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Die Hard, girls with big boobs and loose morals ???????

 I know... i even hate myself for saying it, but i just dont get them.  I think it's im just into the more modern movies... Goodfellas/Casino, and then Sopranos (which i've watched through at least 5 times!).  Every scene of The Godfather has been parodied and re-done 10 times better in other media that the whole films have become cliche.
