Hi everyone it's been quite a few weeks since I've posted, the car is still not finished yet but I'm hoping to get it back in a few days ,maybe a week.

So the photos show some progress with the new colour it's been quite a process as the paint is very difficult to work with  it's reacted to the previous paint bubbling up😕 ,so had to use paint blockers i think so we don't get any reactions 20220115_111733.jpg.ad6532358a567cfb500a95ef6db9636b.jpg

Hi there  everyone good news  the car is just about done couple of miner bits to finish off but should have the car back in enough time for the Ace cafe meeting .  The painting process is shown obviously lots of preparation then door shuts etc  , then remount most of the body panels as you have to paint the whole car so that the colour blend in, not a panel at a time, photos and video does not really show the correct colours,  you have to see it in the flesh. Hope to see you all in the near future

Looks box fresh. Not that it needs it however, I would be looking to light smoke tint the headlamps and door handles too. Hopefully see this again at the Gaydon event in August

Hi there everyone it's been a while.

The car over all has been fine but as you own and live with them I have been ironing out the problems and recognise jobs that need to be tackled.

Two of those is the cooling system water, and  oil  so i have installed larger radiator,  and because i have a remote oil filter i ran a oil cooler as well

The  water temperatures are much improved  and  unlikely to cause any problems long term and the oil cooler also helps with the overall temperatures so I'm pretty happy with the outcome  . I have run the air intake down to the grill for a continuous air lower temperature intake
