Just wondering really... I’m a former 350z owner (2004).

what would you buy next in the same vain as a 2 seater sports coupe? And if not a coupe what else?

Needless to say, better oem performance, let’s says budget is 10-20k - yes I know that’s a huge range but just want to see what people see as a decent upgrade from a 350z.

A lot North  like 3 times. Or am I exaggerating

Nah! you can get an early 09 plate for 35k, so perhaps double:

By the time that you progress from 350 to 370 they will be even cheaper.

I'm not selling or buying but I'd go to a Cayman S for that rough price range.

Depends what you want it for?

I have been thinking of maybe a V8 M3 next as I have the urge for a V8...

I had one(manual) as a daily back in 2013 and it started to feel pretty ordinary pretty quickly for me. The interior is standard 3 series apart from the seats/speedo. The range is poor and it only really feels quick at 6000rpm and above. A Jack of all trades and a master of none Imo.

I'd consider one as a second car now though, and they are becoming reasonable value now too.

I went 350Z - DB9 - Merc 350 CLK - Jag XJL - 997.2

In order of preference ?

1. Porsche

2. 350Z

3. Merc

4. Aston

5. Jag

Or you could go for one of these :)

I love them but would have to have a real car to go with it

I agree about wanting a V8 just not an M3 common as muck around here all driven by angry looking blokes with shaved heads

That's the problem with the 350z, to move away you need to spend at least twice as much to go little bit faster, to handle a little bit better, ending up something not a rare, all for the pleasure of larger service bills and will it sound as good as the VQ?.......

I think a clean tidy 350z still looks good on the road as there's only one newer model after it, unlike the M3, Boxster or Cayman.

Lol I'm 21 with a very full set of hair and have just bought a V8 M3

Worth it for the noise it makes... Certainly a step up from a 350z, but then again it's twice the value

Can see myself back in a 350z when I need the spare ££££ for sure

A full head of hair doesn't get you off the hook do you wear sunglasses when driving in the dark ? like the other angry baldy M3 drivers
