Nismo Brake/Pads

Hello all,

I picked up a 2016 Nismo last weekend and as I like to be organised and prepared in advanced I've been looking at replacement discs and pads.

Are there particular ones (sizes) I need to look for? For some reason when I had in my mind the Nismo had slightly larger brakes over a standard car (please correct me if I'm wrong) and if so when I'm searching for replacement parts 370z parts are always just lumped together as 'all variants'

Thanks in advance.

It's not replace what's on there, it's just so that when the time comes I know what to look for. I don't what to get caught short and in a flap just send it to Nissan for discs and pads when I could do the work myself. I just like to be prepared and budget for things :)

Edit: Also thank you both for the prompt reply, it's appreciated.

Understand buddy but hoping unless its a high miler or hard driven a 2016 Nismo brake and disc refresh is a while off for you. Enjoy the car. I love mine.

Personally I'd take it to a specialist dealer when it's next due a service and I'm sure they'll give you the best advice on life left on pads/discs and will be able to source the part number for you.

I can't recommend Horsham Dec enough, every time I've been I've had the honest true, good work and a fair price given to me for any parts that'll need attention.

Thanks for the replies guys.

They should have plenty of life in them as the car hasn't even hit 15k yet. I'll make sure to speak to Adrian/Torqen for the discs/pads come the time. Horsham Developments would be one hell of a road trip! I'm in between Durham and Newcastle.

Am thoroughly enjoying the car taking a bit of getting used to coming from a Suzuki Swift though...

Based on your location Cougar Store Leicester is your best bet, when the time comes.

Agree, Mitz will sort you out. Great fella.

You'll be wanting Stoptech discs/pads. @Adrian@TORQEN should be able to help you further.

I can also vouch for Horsham Developments. Took my Nismo there last week for a full P3 and was very impressed with how meticulous they were and informative.

Thanks, Shane!

Ben, have a look here for some reviews on the StopTech discs with various pads, StopTech or Hawk:
