1964 Vauxhall Cresta *not washed in 10 yrs

Was asked to clean a good mates 60's Cresta and how could I say no. Literally not seen a sponge in 10 years let alone a polish to which rain, snow and wind has been it's only means of care. Never dealt with panels so faded, not overly dirty considering but then again not seen the road in lord knows how long. 

 

Good scrub down, dry, prep then combo of compound and polishing pads with Menzerna products.

Would love to get something like that, put some modern upgrade brakes on it, nice V6 or V8 under the bonnet (if it would fit) and use it as a show car. :thumbs:

Don't forget to upgrade the steering ... it needs 3 day's notice if you want to change direction

I had one as well back in 1970, it was my first car it was also the first car I experienced the joys of the bench seat with a laydeeee:yahoo:.Happy days.
