Ok, so my sexy new rims are in transit from Japan. I want to cover them in Michelin rubber this time around on my 370z Nismo. The car is mainly driven in the summer and its not shy of the rain. Not tracked. What tyre from the Michelin range do members run or suggest ?.

Dan, would of course be interested in your advice as the Tyre guru. Research suggest the MPSS but is has the model been replaced ?

Only problem is mps4s don’t come in the size needed for the Nismo. Mine will need replacing soon too as last time I managed to get mpss as last of stock but they are all gone now.  Think I’ll need to go 265/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear.

Using these on my Nismo:

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S PS4S - 265/35 R19 (98Y) XL TL

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S PS4S - 305/30 R19 (102Y) XL TL

Ive been running the PS4S on my daily driver for last 18 months and to say they are awesome is an understatement. The sheer level of grip & feedback is amazing. Not only that i've done around 20,000 miles in them and they are still nowhere near the wear bars. Compared to 12 months and 14,000 miles which killed the set of rubbish Pirelli P-Zeros which I had before hand.

.., if 18” or smaller then PS4 are still excellent. I run the PS4 and they’re better than the old MPSS.

Agree as I'm running PS4 all round on my BM and they are superb. Inspires confidence especially now the weather is colder, wetter and icy at times too.
