I bought 2 yes 2 digital levels

Yes it's later @andybp   If you're that bored you could reply to my pm ;)

Nice @andy james

So this is the next on the list -

IMG_2575.jpg.0e66a98a41fcbfd376a7323a394b0fb2.jpg

I got this rotary table with my milling machine and have used it twice, the problem is that it is hard to use and the shaft is bent so it keeps sticking and it takes about an hour to do a full rotation using the handle

Anyway I put the shaft in the lathe to bring it back to true,

IMG_2578.jpg.d97aea9b26d75bc883c69b226c360cea.jpg

put a new thread on the end

IMG_2579.jpg.97b3f44f05a6d69ed297f329d60c52c3.jpg

Found this - I think it's a brake piston from a metro  anyway it made a good pulley :)

IMG_2577.jpg.3157faa295634bb50df411616d59ffc3.jpg

Made another pulley from some bar stock

IMG_2580.jpg.7a6052071f1deb48d2e28fa2e021c3fb.jpg

Then added a windscreen wiper motor

IMG_2584.jpg.54f9b207d5b699776d25888a9ff803a3.jpg

It's fab isn't it?

I thought I'd test it before adding a speed controller - works well, here's a little vid

  I Love it

Random picture of a foot for @mattross1313

Here's a shocker for you - work on the Pop :scare:

Started by bolting the jig I made from @Beb 's car to the chassis rails

IMG_2589.jpg.af864e5f5de99ece40418b6fd8cb50c8.jpg

Cut some metal up

IMG_2590.jpg.1cb209b76b347e38b764d9b01da511bf.jpg

made my first 2 upper control arm mounts

IMG_2591.jpg.80e5170e01dbbf8a7a56b3c8477ef906.jpg

IMG_2592.jpg.80e6abcd0c1d97977e847ecb4b282aa1.jpg

Then made a top plate

IMG_2596.jpg.688a3d00ec748f79539ab1ca8698d4ba.jpg

IMG_2595.jpg.fcd0436d00ac615d5a95d446f67aa2a8.jpg

Those that read the Rotary table post above will have noticed the original top mount being cut up like so

IMG_2598.jpg.b2dee8ebc383f96cbb1e3d6bb2912164.jpg

IMG_2599.jpg.67a4fb6f3b9af014f44632900a6b7dea.jpg

Then the new top mount

IMG_2600.jpg.5a11fbf2da798ac0ba7a88af6900665c.jpg

IMG_2601.jpg.053ceeffd6349af679f335e3df8655eb.jpg

With a bit of welding and sanding the two became one

IMG_2603.jpg.41403406b7dfd43d355e7a319d1f551f.jpg

IMG_2602.jpg.09ea644cfdc4b8f98862eb75f7c532bd.jpg

The plate was then trimmed to a sensible size

IMG_2604.jpg.423d5bb222591dc25be30e5382ab46ba.jpg

I said to Mrs Keyser "It looks OEM" she said "only if OEM means Over Engineering Maniac" - Not sure how to feel about that :lol:

anyway between that and the rotary table build that's all I had time for today :( Left it here

IMG_2605.jpg.189a36abe9fb638c90bd4cd1934d3c6f.jpg

More tomorrow (as soon as I sneak out of the shopping trip to Ikea :scare::ninja::lol:
