Justthejedi Posted October 4, 2018 Share Posted October 4, 2018 Over a period of a week my local tyre/exhaust place have attempted to remove my old sensor but cannot get it off!.....tried heat, penetrating fluid etc. They can unscrew it x3 times and then the thing tightens up!....feels like the thread will strip and then I'll be in a world of pain and they aren't a specialist for zeds. I'm not sure what to do. It throws a light up every couple of months so it's not an urgent problem. It's the pre-cat sensor. Has anybody else had this problem?......if so, how did you remedy it?.....or what are my options? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Umster Posted October 5, 2018 Share Posted October 5, 2018 I had a 02 sensor code which ended up being a similar problem. Exhaust leak due to a few dodgy gaskets and a HFC flange which needed sanding down.
