And here's Billy exploring the new car

IMG_20180401_115744.jpg.fa35ec22e50329c55dde623b81de1be8.jpg

Everything standard apart from some japseed exhausts installed by the previous owner.

I have some plans for the car but nothing anywhere near as extravagant as some of you guys. But I'm still excited about it so will put some pics up in here from time to time instead of spamming the rest of the forum.

Its my daily driver but has already been on a couple of track days and I hope to keep them up doing a few each year.

Parts done already:

Installed double din stereo

Ferodo ds2500 pads all round

HEL braided brake lines

Motul 600 brake fluid

Hydrodipped rear strut cover and some interior trim

Black z badges and z wheel caps

Pirelli p zero tyres all round

New floor and boot mats

Polybushes on all front suspension components

Fix some parking dings

Longer term:

Rear polybushes

Bonnet respray, general paint touch ups and a good machine polish

Coilovers

Refurbish driver's seat

Thanks guys, the hydrodipping was done by a place close to me, http://a1hydroprint.co.uk

I was v happy with their work and when I get the centre console etc done I'll go back to them.

For the 2 door bits and rear strut brace it cost me £160.

I think that might be a little more than average but I suspect that having the Z done a different colour may have contributed to that a bit.

Wizard, I think you have me mistaken for someone else, this is my first Z :)

Nice car! Got myself a HR to. :)

Nice, any plans for it?

My only experience of the non HR engine is a couple of short test drives, how do you find they compare to each other?

Not going to crazy on it. Susupension wise I want to get it up and running really great. And change the exhaust for a better sound.

Compared to my DE it's a completely different car, Pulls better in every gear and the car just feels beter overall. Better build quality, the nicer interior. Etc. I'm really happy with it.

Fitted some wheel spacers today. Went 15mm front and 20mm at the back. Makes such a difference, looks much better now.

Also fitted my knew gear knob.

The original one was a bastard to get off but was badly warn.

Next up, I think I want to get the wheels re-done, powder coated gloss black
