A mate of mine worked for Ascari, apparently Klaus wanted to build a car he couldnt buy, so he founded Ascari, it was more a hobby, he also owns a resort in Spain where he made his own racetrack featuring all his favourite corners from other circuits (featured on top gear), some mad stories from his time there, i.e bmw were being slow with supplying engines at one stage so he sent his manager down to the local dealership, bought 3 brand new M5's, stripped the engines and left the rest outside.
