conrod357 Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 After turning ignition to on position the pop up hood light would stay on for 7 seconds, then a pause for about 3 seconds, another flash, then a pause for about 3 seconds and then 7 quick flashes. It would keep repeating this sequence. The problem was fixed by raising car (safely), on inspecting the two blue plugs that connect to the sensors behind the bumper one was not all the way in, ie clicked into position. It looked good but it wasn't. This fixed my pop up hood light headache and gave me great joy when it stopped flashing!
