New buy 350Z engine gone

Recommended Posts

Welcome aboard and sorry to hear about your Zeds engine going.

Try zmanalex (as suggested) as he may have a good used condition engine because he sells used Zed parts: http://www.350z-uk.c.../9648-zmanalex/

You could also ask Clark Motorsport as they did at one point have a used Zed engine or two: http://www.350z-uk.c...ark-motorsport/

Good luck.

The engine was fully reconditioned 9 months ago - 1k miles -by Auto Engines Uk

It had that common ticking noise though , but was pulling ok on test drive .

When driving home it started rattle more and more and finally gone with big oil leak.

Is it not still under warranty?

If it was, that would only apply to the previous owner as the purchaser of the work. Unless specified, warranty is not transferable.

Just found out that the company rebuilt the engine is very dodgy , phones not valid , very bad reviews on the internet .

My mistake didnt check it before , just trusted in invoice . Another lesson....
