[SOLD]Genuine Pearl White Nismo 350Z

Recommended Posts

She is a 2008 350z coupe with 39k miles on the clock, genuine pearl white from the factory, along with the factory fitted Nismo option. This was the closest the UK ever got to having a Nismo edition 350z, and to find a HR such as this is quite rare. She also has full Nissan service history, with any other work being carried out by Nissan specialists Abbey Motorsport. These guys will vouch for the car I am sure, they are a great bunch and I would encourage the new owner to pay them a visit should they need anything doing!

She has all of the usual GT spec extras:

  • Brembos
  • Heated leather seats
  • Xenon headlights
  • Steering wheel audio controls
  • Bose sound system
  • Cruise control
  • Bluetooth (not a usual extra)

Then having the Factory Nismo pack, she also has the Nismo front and rear bumpers, with side skirts and spoiler. The Nismo induction kit makes a lovely sound, and although people say that open filters make slightly less power, the >1hp differance is more than compensated for by the engine note it produces with these!

This one also benefits from the 19" Nismo LMGT4 Rays, which are immaculate as I will describe in more detail below, and are painted in Rays Bronze.

These cars, in my opinion, need very few modifications, as they are amazing straight from the factory. I have however changed a few things that I felt needed upgrading to bring everything up to the same standard. These include:

Brakes & Suspension:

Standard Brembo GT spec setup, with OEM discs, Endless MX RS front pads £400 delivered from JDM land! Well used now however still have a fair bit of life left being endurance high temp pads. Rears again are OEM discs with YellowStuff pads.

For those that are interested I have included a link here to read up on how great Endless pads really are: http://www.endlessus...brake-pads/mxrs - in a nutshell they work from road temperatures all the way along to high temps that would only be found from race pads. So you have the best of both worlds.

Always have only used SuperBlue brake fluid, and has just had a fresh lot put in at the beginning of April.

Standard springs and shocks still, that work like new being such low millage. Have installed Eibach adjustable front and rear antiroll bars with adjustable droplinks.

Engine & Exhaust:

Aside from the Nismo induction kit, the engine I have left pretty much standard, it has been remapped at Abbey Motorsport using UpRev to get the most out of the engine. I feel that 320-330bhp was more than enough for me, and never found it lacked power.

The exhaust is rather special, it was again yet another no expense spared decision, so I went for a Amuse R1 titanium duel exhaust. This is, again in my own opinion one of the nicest exhausts for any Japanese car, and it really transformed the exhaust tone. The beauty of these is that under low revs they are surprisingly quiet, so you can drive along and actually have a conversation with your passenger! I also added Berk decat pipes, which surprisingly do not fail emissions tests on MOT's!!

Running Gear:

This car has been absolutely faultless in my ownership over the last 3 years, the only thing that I have ever had to address has been clutch related! The clutch went soon after I bought her, so I had a JWT clutch and lightweight flywheel kit imported from the states, and fitted along with new fluids etc. The difference the lightweight flywheel makes is very impressive, the engine revs up a lot quicker. This coupled with the remapping that removes the 3 stage throttle sensor makes it feel more like a racing car to some degree! :D I have also had the slave cylinder replaced as that failed on me, this was a common problem so now it has been addressed and replaced for a newer unit, should not happen again.

Interior:

Inside the car is still very standard. The only thing I replaced was the headunit, for a Pioneer AppRadio MP3 unit. It is quite nice, as you can link your apps on your phone to it, to control them through the stereo screen. This unit also replaces the Nissan Bluetooth unit and is much better quality to. It connects any usb device to play MP3s and video etc.

Wheels & Tyres:

As I said, the LMGT 4's are in fantastic condition, having been treated with g5 compound to maintain the paint, and to stop dirt/brake dust accumulating and fading the colour. All wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Supersports. Still all road legal however they will need changing before to much longer depending on how the car is driven.

Bad Points:

I think any car that has been driven off a forecourt will have its bad points, luckily with this there is not to many. The rear bumper plastic has two small deformities in the plastic, like creases I guess you could call them, only 3 cm long each, no broken paint or anything, it was like this when I bought her and I wanted to have the rear bumper resprayed at some point. I was currently in the process of sourcing a reputable body shop to carry out the work. Also the old exhaust system that was on the car has heated up and scorched slightly underneath the rear bumper. This is not visible but as I mentioned I spend a lot of time cleaning the silly bits, I have tried and tried to get this out over the years with no luck - hence the respray wanted. There are also the odd few stone chips on the front bumper as with any car. Nothing to nasty but they are there all the same, and again I would ideally liked to have had this rectified but I realise from previous experience that having a front bumper resprayed to remove stone chips only makes the next lot of stone chips more infuriating! The interior is pretty immaculate which is rare for these cars since they chip so easily. When I was looking for the right Z I found so many that were chipped to buggery I knew I had to find one that wasn't. There are the odd few small marks inside but I would say that it is still better than 99% of other z's interiors. One wheel has part of the S missing from the Nismo sticker to!

Had MOT in April and past as usual with no advisory's.

Price is £13800

Sorry for the long post! thanks for viewing, and if I have missed anything please let me know!

That is lovely. From someone with a pearl car, these are beautiful in person, photos genuinely don't do them justice.

Impeccable taste in exhaust & wheels! ðŸ˜

Thanks for the comments 😊 Will truely be sad to see her go but am just not using her enough to justify keeping. Hopefully will go to another enthusiast who will cherish just as much as I have!

Forgot to add that I will include all my spare bits in with the sale, including Nissan coolest, spare interior bits, steering wheel, wheel spacer, sparewheel oem Bose unit and probably some other bits I've forgotten.

I also should have added I am open to sensible offers as I have only advertised on here for now since I want it to go to another enthusiast ideally 😊

Can't believe there has not been more interest! She's still on the lmgt4's as my mate is having some money problems. Would prefer to go as is as the Nismo's improved the look/drive dramatically in my opinion!

Quick cheeky shot:

One of my favourite pics of recent taken in Cochem!!

Also am willing to part ex for cheap diesel as could use a cheap to run daily!

as stunning as your car is, I will be honest and say that I think your car is overpriced and you will struggle to sell for that price ,unless you find that 1 person that is on the market for exactly this

you are talking low specs 370 Zed money here and for some that is enough to persuade them that way

it depends now how much are you willing to wait...

anyway GLWTS !

I know what your saying, it's true you could get a lower spec 370z for not much more however hopefully this will be bought by someone not wanting a rough example to simply run around in, but an immaculate and unique Z that will perform just as well as a 370 and is guaranteed to get more notice to! 😊

It is a lovely car. The factory Nismo kit and tasteful desirable mods will add a bit of value but I'm not sure its worth 13800?

Is it not worth selling the wheels and exhaust separately?

Good luck with the sale though

Prices reflect a number of things on any car, condition, rareity etc. It is priced at the higher end as I firmly believe this is one of the best examples in the country. I guarantee you will not find another quite the same in spec or condition, and being nearly 10 years old now the quality of z33's you will find for sale are only going to deteriorate as time goes on unless they have been garaged by a collector.

Either way as I said a deposit has been left - by a genuine enthusiast from the forum who I am confident will maintain this level of condition! That was more important than selling to just anyone who will let the condition waver and slip down to make this just another average condition car on the road.
