Driver Window Issue.

Millenium1

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have found someone on here who has had the same issue that I'm having but there was no definitive answer to the problem, (I'm not being lazy I tried to find the answer).

When I close my drivers door the driver side window comes down to just short of half way, I have tried raising the window, dropping the down and holding the switch then fully raising the window and holding the switch again to no avail. Any help in curing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks for your time,

Ricky

I *think* you will need a window motor reset - vaguely remember something about this, taking the card of and manually intervening. Have a search through for window reset procedure otherwise a more knowledgable person will be along shortly I am sure...

Hi Ricky,

As above, if a reset using the window switch itself does not work, then there is a small black reset button directly on the motor itself.

The door card will need to come off, and I'm pretty sure there is a guide on how to do this in the guides section.

The button on the motor will be hidden behind a circular piece of black tape. Just pull this off and you should see it

Hope this helps.
