Any news on the DE support yet.

Mark, do you know if the launch control is achieved by ignition or fuel being cut? Usual 2 step systems cut the spark as it's easier, but the correct way is to cut fuel.

Burnout mode is interesting! Is that just achieved by locking the front wheels ?

Uprev have a US DE car but this is different to the UK DE(276bhp) ECU will chase them this week for an update.

Regards Launch control , I disagree with just using fuel cut a good launch set up needs both fuel/ign cutting but the Uprev set up does only cut the fuel.

Stock car if you hod the brake on is reduces throttle input adding burn out mode removes this.

Oh yeah, of course a proper set up cuts both, but most aftermarket systems just cut the spark as it's easier to achieve. Cutting fuel is the safer way to do it.

Hmm, didn't know the UK and US DE's have different ECU's.

When you mention about losing NATS, does this mean the remote unlock will no longer work and both the alarm and immobiliser will be disabled? These are all NATS functions as far as I'm aware. There's obviously an insurance risk in doing this as you're removing a security feature the insurers assume is there.

Yes UK ECU is different as the imobilzer is upgraded on the UK ECU's but this takes space up in the EPROM. Uprev are working on getting the ARC code into the reduced space.

If we use a US ECU on a U.K. Car you will lose the NATS. This will just lose the immobiliser the alarm will still work thou.

With regards to some options not being available on uk de cars yet, does this apply to JDM aswell?

Yes there is no support for DE car's yet with ARC add on's.

Support has been released for the DE cars but not the UK DE cars yet but Uprev are working on trying to sort this out.

Thanks
