Started off well with a drive down the alignment shop, which went brilliantly and the car felt awesome afterwards. Then it nose dived Started with the ECU light appearing, which I was 90% sure was the higj flow cats, which it was. Switched those off with the scanner only to get up the road and the airbag light decided to throw a wobbly, blinking away. So back down I went. Switched that off and then on the drive home was forced over in my right of way by a white van man and have managed to curb my 5 day old alloys. To top that off the car has developed a weird idle. When fully warm its idling at about 500rmp with the odd pop and splutter. Ahhhh. Any ideas about the idle guys? EDIT: Should probably mention its an O4 DE with 78K onnthe clock, last mini service only 2K ago. Im thinking about a slightly thicker oil and new plugs, any recommendations? Olly350z Posted May 6, 2017 Author Share Posted May 6, 2017 Gave her a gentle bath today after a night of brake bedding in last night, my new wheels were black! I've also pulled the MAF sensor in an attempt to see if its whats causing my dodgy idle. Not entirely sure when it'll get fitted though as Im actually in Hospital writing this! It does sound absolutely epic mind, but I'll definitely be getting a small silencer put into just quieten it down a tad. Likes to pop the odd flame now! And in all of the lovely weather we've had this week, I've spent every day cleaning it to the best standard possible. It's now ready for JDMcoombe on the 10th of June! Who are you and what have you done with Davey! Ill get it fitted with a small silencer, just enough to tone it down for normal driving but still able to wake the dead at WOT. So as that's happened, time for a little update! Payday came and went, which obviously meant another purchase in the shape of Jerricks Meister R coilovers! And then the few pictures that I got tagged in and Thanks to Davey for the bootyshot. JDM combe was awesome and so that the pictures are up to date!
