Its catching

Cougar Store visit for supply and fit differential poly bushes from Whiteline as i noticed mine has started to leak. Not desperately in need of replacement however with wanting to go on track later on in the year, its something that's only going to get worst with the abuse.

Once fitted I did make a noticeable difference which i was pleasantly surprised about. Previously if you launched the car to light up the rears *did once before, i would get wheel hope which felt pants and made a right racket too - yuk. On/off throttle in comparison before felt like the engine was being turned on when you touched the gas. Now the rears spin up cleanly with hardly any axle tramp at all, throttle pick up is very crisp and adds to the driving experience of the car - worth every £££.

Sounds like these are well worth doing then, your Zed is looking very tidy B)

Also need to check and clean my PCV, where abouts is it located?

Cheers pal, thank you - yes a rated upgrade in my mind for sure, no regrets.

Below shows the PCV valve location..............

Japfest 2016 saw my first ever venture on track in my own car, being Silverstone i thought was an excellent introduction as its vast (17m width) and incredibly flat. That and only 3rd, 4th and 5th gears being needed the whole way round.

Being April not only did we have rain that morning but a tiny bit of snow also. To say i was nervous was an understatement with seeing the aftermath of 'that' black Supra going off a grass verge on the way there and a fellow members black 350z slamming into the wall on the old pit straight on the first flying lap didn't help either - 70% felt enough for me that day.

Thoroughly enjoyed it though and going out on track with my little brother felt amazing. He watched my blind spots thus allowing me to focus straight ahead. Car felt great during the brave moments i did use a bit of speed, changed direction very well, good brakes too. No complaints as the car wasn't holding me back, i was holding the car back.

Washed and dried and took these the following day at work.

Time for a new air filter, as a touch more orange was needed. Spare MAF would undergo adjustment LOL

Yes matey 14/17mm drop, perfect for a daily I feel - cheers again

Sprayed a couple caps from my Sunny

Then added the dipstick and a vacuum hose mount to the mix.

Also sourced a couple of JDM window switches as not having auto passenger window bugged me.

IMG_20161102_115311_zpsbl1kclmu.jpg

IMG_20161103_100834_zps0d4rybcr.jpg

Plug and almost play as just needed to carry out a window reset which worked straight away for the drivers side but took three attempts on the passenger.

All in all, much better and how Nissan should have made all 350z

Last Sunday in June meant Japfest Rock, sadly the owners club wasn't in attendance but the show must go on. Again not only had show tickets been purchased, but track time too. Being a warm sunny day, this time I could push alot harder and actually see what was what. Quick check of the oil level *500ml needed, lowered the tyre pressure all round to 26 psi, setup the GoPro - prep done.

IMG_20160626_122509738_zpsgrsqeqjf.jpg

First time seeing the chequered flag as last time out at Silverstone, poor conditions caused issues resulting in red flags each time huff.

This time out was way better, left the paddock behind my mate Kay in her Almera SR20DE+T which was a good sight and for years I wanted to go out with her.

^ ok for a DIY job, pleased with that. Next came DIY attempt for side spitters made from uPVC. Wanted to buy black ones but couldn't get then in time so white it was then later black vinyl wrap.

For less that £40 all in, I think the effect is 80% of what the shop bought version would be so again pleased with that.

August came time for a lads road trip out to Lake Vyrnwy Wales, only my second time going there but its so so lovely and looks just like a postcard as some of you very well know.

Apart from picking up a stone on the rear N/S tyre, the 350z was faultless.

End of August meant MOT time :surrender: *its first with me

Apart from the quick checks of the levels, lights, tyres and wipers i remebered i wanted to tart up the under body chassis W brace as these are prone for corrosion and mine was sadly no different.

Pretty poor condition but solid enough at the moment.

Wire brush and brush painted as much was i could while lying on the cold floor.

Obviously not correction detail, more of an enhancement. From before I would appear to be about a 70% improvement overall which I was very happy about.

Cheer fella, she is loved. I'm so so strange, if I got given a super car for a weekend the first thing I'd do is clean it from hours and hours then go for a drive - always in that order. Could happily clean and prep cars all day long.

Anyways after its MOT and mini detail, the very next day was Niss Show over at Rockingham. Last bit of candy red piping to be fitted to the interior and were good. Something I thought to break up the black on black on black.

Yay dual auto window switches.

The very next weekend was another biggie, the debut of Japanese Performance Show in Coventry.

After Japanese Performance Show came the season finale, the cherry on the 2016 JDM cake Japanese Auto Extravaganza. Those that have been will know, it's amazing. I've been five times with three different cars and even in my 92' 5 door Sunny had a great time! It's a four day festival with a car theme. Doesn't matter if your car is worth £700 or £70000 when you walking about the everyone is on a level.

Thanks Steve

Some from the show with someone that knows how to use a DSLR, unlike me.
