Myles' 370Z GT

Okay, so I've had the car for around 6 months now, so think it's time to finally start up a build thread.

Firstly, I'll put up a few pics of my last car; a "heavily modified" 2011 Ford Fiesta Zetec S.

Some of the mods include:

- Hydraulic Suspension with rear seats taken out for full boot build

- Cobra Bucket Seats with LUKE 4 Point Harnesses

- Custom made Focus RS style rear diffuser with custom made dual exit cat back exhaust

- Lots of gold body styling

Anyway, moving onto my new car. In November last year I bought myself a 2011 370Z GT. This was supposed to be a more grown up car for me, that I wasn't going to "need to modify" and was just going to enjoy as it is. Long story short, that theory is now out the window as you'll see below.

Here's a few standard pics:

Aside from some LED bulbs etc, my first purchase for the Z was the Amuse bodykit, straight off Scott's 370, which included an almost 900 mile round trip in my dad's Honda CRV to pick them up. (Yes, I could've had them couriered up, but wheres the fun in that? :p )

So, my plan was always to have my car wrapped, as you can probably tell from my fiesta build, I like to try and stand out from the crowd. So as I type this my car is with the wrapping company, mid way through its colour change :teeth:

Anyway, once I had dropped my car off last Monday for its wrap, I saw Parello's RT wings for sale and had to have them! Contradictory to what I said above, I decided to get these couriered up direct to the wrapping company to be fitted and wrapped. With the quickest and most painless sale and turnaround ever, they are now fitted and wrapped - but I won't give the colour away just yet!

So as we are now up to date. I'll put up a few progress pics up of the wrap so far. (In black and white of course!). It's due to be completed early next week, so should hopefully see some finished pics by the end of the week.

Into the following wee I have then booked in to have a custom exhaust made up by the same company that made my Fiesta one, so pictures and a video should hopefully soon follow it being built and fitted :)

As always, all comments and suggestions welcome! Much more still to come! :stir:

Hmm maybe actually a bit dark for gold

Not gold! Although was very tempted after the gold accents on my Fiesta haha. Thinking maybe gold wheels though!

Wings!!! :)

Look nice on the car!

They look awesome in the pics! Still haven't seen them in person yet

So just a quick update until I get some better pictures and probably a video to better show off the colour. But that's it now finished, bodykit on and wrapped in Hexis "Variochrome Beetle", a vibrant colour shift vinyl that shifts between purple and green depending on where you look at it. I'm so happy with it, and think the 370 is the type of car that can pull this off!

Got a quick iPhone pic for now, hopefully some HD ones to come later tonight :)

Very very nice, excellent colour choice, maybe black or darker door handles now?

I did ask the company if they could wrap them but they said they couldn't. I've seen some carbon covers from USA for them, so between them and just getting them painted. That and some headlight/taillight tints are on the cards. 😄

I have enquired about a very out of the box set of wheels, hopefully I can manage to get them! But for now, here's a couple of photos my friend took of the car. He managed to capture the colour 100 x better than me and my iPhone haha!

Will have a full photoshoot album soon. He's also going to give a video feature a go, so excited to see how that turns out!
