I guess because I can't drive my Zed at the moment (broken arm) I have been trawling the forums looking for minor mods.

Although it wasn't my intention to make any major changes these are my plans

Base is 2005 roadster

1/ Filter box mod (done)

2/ replacement panel filter (suggestions welcome)(done. Went with a pipercross)

3/ plenum spacer (done)

4/ up rev remap

5/ some under bonnet dress up (screws n hoses etc)(some bling added)

6/ Replacement hood (done...Car hood Warehouse)

7/ Ray's to replace the OEM alloys (Rays purchased, need some new rear tyres and a refurb)

That's my list at the moment!!

Cosworth is a decent panel filter (to be honest they are all a much of a muchness in terms of what they do)

Order the plenum spacer here whilst you can if you are planning engine dress up too http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71728-fs-custom-anodised-plenum-spacers-170-delivered/page__st__180

Uprev comes last, once all your power mods are done

Shiney plenum spacer ordered from Wasso.

On the list for hydraulic hood struts

Just need to find a decent dry weekend to fit it all

I have gave up on waiting for a dry weekend. I just found a dry place to take all my stuff lol.

Also check the link below for a good deal on at the moment.

So. As the OH is away. I get to do stuff to the Zed

First off. Fitting the velocity stack

This is what it looked like just as I started taking bits off

However it didn't finish there.

I wanted to get the plenum spacer fitted as well. So as it was off I set to cleaning and painting up the plenum which was looking a bit grim

And while I was at it. I masked up and painted the throttle body

I'll take a decent picture in daylight of the after shot

Not sure whether to leave the engine cover black or go purple

Next up for the purple treatment though is the battery and fluids covers!!
