Zeds booked in to see Jez @ Horsham for the 9th November.

Few bits to be fitted:

- SPL PRO V3 front upper camber arms

- SPL rear camber links

- SPL front end links

- SPL rear end links

- SPL rear traction arms

- SPL eccentric lock out kit

- Eibach front & rear ARB kit

- Energy Suspension Hyperflex Master Bushings Kit - consisting of:

  • Front Control Arm Bushing already done when banana arms replaced
  • Front Sway Bar Bushings
  • Subframe Bushings
  • Steering Rack Bushings
  • Differential Bushings
  • Rear Control Arm Bushings
  • Rear Sway Bar Bushings

Along with a full geometry 'fast-road' setup.

Will also be purchasing my UpRev license in anticipation of the install for 2016.

Reason for doing it now is so I can have the car mapped to get the best out of the Motordyne plenum spacer, ART pipes and the Invidia Gemini cat-back.

I haven't got round to fitting the plenum spacer yet - I will do this nearer the time of taking the car to see Jez.

Roll on November! :yahoo:

Ah thought you had done the uprev .

That will be fun with that lot and a good few BHP more .

ARB are one of the best things I have done you will love them turn in is so much more crisp .

Alan

I think it's the format I write RevUp, can be easily mistaken for UpRev I guess haha

Yep - certainly looking forward to having all the new suspension parts on, have only had experience with ARBs in the past, never upgraded camber/tie/traction links on previous cars so looking forward to these mods too!

Well, it's been a while.

Hello all the original crew and any other new members around now

Been a tough couple of years which is why I haven't been active on here for some time! But now I'm back and just wanted to bring the thread up to date.

Over two years back, when my better half was 7 months pregnant with our second child, our first child was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 4. Many of you will know Samuel from Ace Cafe, Japfest etc - especially Adrian and also Amy, who he adores!

It took us as a complete surprise and we just took everything in our stride, and now it's just became a way of life for us now, not stopped us or him doing anything!

December 2015

The work that was carried out by Jez @ Horsham was top-notch, felt like a giant go-kart on steroids - seriously, the smile on my face the whole way home was something else.

After purchasing the Uprev license, the car was mapped following the previous mods now carried out. Felt like a new car to drive, the noise, the throttle response, the power delivery, just....amazing.

The following items were fitted:

- SPL PRO V3 front upper camber arms

- SPL rear camber links

- SPL front end links

- SPL rear end links

- SPL rear traction arms

- SPL eccentric lock out kit

- Eibach front & rear ARB kit

The alignment was tweaked and done to perfection (in my opinion). Can't remember the lads name who was working on the alignment but he was loving the SPL components! Loved working with them he had said too.

I have a few images below of the results of the dyno and the geometry alignment:

Plenum Spacer, Motordyne ART Test pipes, Invidia Gemini Cat-Back (Resonated), ran on V-Power.

Fast forward to June 2018:

The boys are now 7 and 2 years old and the zed is now 11 years old!

It's done around 800 miles since having all of the upgrades, I haven't really got to fully appreciate it out on track or anything due to time constraints and my partner working weekends!

I am reluctantly putting it away into storage for a couple of years (as I don't have the space myself) - I cannot bare to see it go to another home and I wish to keep it for a very long time!

Any hints and tips for long term storage are very welcome!

Glad to see you have still got Zeditus after obviously a very tough time.

Good luck with FI build when you have the time soon!

Thanks Andy! Yeah definitely won't be changing any time soon! :D
