Hello

This is my 1st post so go easy on me haha thanks

I bought this Nissan 350z auto 2003 with no throttle working -

I have changed the throttle body and changed the throttle pedal with position sensor and still no luck it will not Rev and it's in limp mode and the slip / Tcs light is on .

My next move was to change ecu and try that but I think may have a split wire some where - but where ???

Any ideas ?

I don't know the history ect

It's also very hard to start when I can get it started that is !

If that doesn't help, given where you are, I'd forget about Nissan as you've got Abbey Motorsport and Horsham Developments less than an hour away and they're two of the most respected and experienced Zed specialists in the country. Might be worth considering.

Good luck!

Thanks guys , on the pro street info it says that the pedal sensors are different part numbers for auto and manual , I'm slightly worried as when I bought the car the man said he changed the pedal sensor and I have checked it and it's not the same part number as the info on pro street and I have also bought a pedal and mine is different .

On the car now is part number 18919AM810

Can't remember the one I bought but it's different .

Are these correct or could that be my problem do you think

Main issue we see with Zeds with no throttle is a bad connection between the connector and the DBW throttle body.

Just needs the male part of the terminal slightly twisting to help get a good contact.

Disconnect the battery tweak the terminals then re connect and give it a try.

Any further questions ask away.

Thanks

Right I have replaced the throttle pedal and sensor ect .

Done throttle reset and throttle open close procedure .

Now I have a the lights on still but I'm actually getting a little response from the accelerater pedal , it's actually responding going up to 1500 rpm when foot is to the floor so my mechanic plugged his snap on diagnostics in and the two fault codes have gone and now I have two different fault codes that wasn't there previously .

The codes are :

P1122- ETC PERFORMANCE PROBLEM

P1126- ETC MOTOR OPEN CIRCUIT/THERMOSTAT FUNCTION .

The throttle body is not opening when I put my foot down could this be the problem do you think ?

Thanks lee.
