  1. Im selling my Nismo V3.  Open to sensible offers

Up for sale we have my 2007 HR fairlady version nismo.
This is the only version Nismo in the UK. These were not available in the UK. This was imported from Japan. Approximately 1500 were made.
These cars were sent to the Autech factory where extra chassis strengthening was carried out, including extra seam welding around the windscreen area and more strength added to the rear strut bar.
In addition to this they were fitted with front and rear Nismo damper bars located behind the front crash bar and in the boot at the front of the strut towers.
These HR engined cars were also given the version 3 nismo bodykit from factory, nismo  rays forged alloys which run a staggered set up with 18" in the front and 19" in the rears and nismo exhaust system.
The Catalitic convertors have been removed and Torqen high flow cats installed along with HKS air filters to allow the car to breath more to sound better.
The interior on these cars and slightly different too as they have grey a with red stitching on the seats, steering wheel and door cards.
Ive also had the car fully resprayed in the original colour to keep it fresh.
The cars done 36000 miles and I've just carried out a full service and also replaced the gallery gaskets to the new composite ones to keep the oil pressure as it should be. When I bought the car the previous owner had been rolled into waiting at a roundabout. He Only had the car insured as a standard 350z and the cost to import, replace and paint the nismo bumper, replace the rear led lights as the bottom corners had been chipped and the boot panel which had been damaged too ended up enough for them to give the car a Cat D assignment.  I have loads of pictures of the damage/ repair that I had my trusted bodyshop repair while painting the full car for me with no expense spared.

  2. Hey guys. For those that don't know I've been here since 2005 ish when I bought my first 350z.

I very soon caught the modding bug and have stuck with it ever since.  Even through a divorce, new relationship and 2 kids later my Z obsession is stronger than ever.

I've worked my way through many different 350z's.  Some I've modified, some I've bought and sold for a small profit to help with my addiction and others I've broke for parts if they have been to rough to save.

I am currently down to 4 as I've just sold 2.

I managed to secure a nismo 380rs a few years back which I'm so glad I did as they have doubled in price now so my baby will remain with me until I have to retire and it can then go towards my pension fund.

Along with the 380rs I have my z33 version Nismo V3 in auto.

My Ultra Yellow GT4 #105 recently purchased from Chris at Tarmac Sports. Which was stock but that didn't last long.....

Then I have my candy red 500bhp supercharged showcar that has now been stripped, LS3 V8 engine fitted, rollcage, full underbody restore, massive suspension, brakes and wheel upgrades. This has been a 4 year project....so far.  I took on a massive challenge in building my own custom widebody parts using carbon fibre.... This will be epic when complete but it can't be rushed haha.

    Enjoy the pictures

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the feedback and I’ll check out the one on Ebay. What a great idea to contact them directly. Do you think the £15k price is realistic for 79k mileage?

If you have any contact details of anyone and would be willing to share, that would help a lot. Did they appreciate the blind contact?

Which ltd number did you obtain? Any photos of your new GT4 would be awesome? 😊

    Regards

    Paul

I got into a conversation with a few of them but none were willing to sell. I think £15k is a little high but it is from a dealership I think.

I've did some upgrades to mine since I got it lol

    Nismo V1 body kit

    Esprit rear wing

    Nismo S-tune suspension

    19" Volk te37

    Facelift headlights and rear lights

    Jack royal custom steering wheel

  4. Hi. I managed to get a yellow GT4 after trying for 6 months, pestering current owners after tracking them down via facebook :0

The ones I know about the mileage varies massively from 20k-120k

price wise I'd say £10-£18k is what your looking at depending on mileage and condition.

there was one put up on eBay the other day. Might be worth checking as it the first I've seen for a long time

  5. Yes you need to either trim the connectors above or what I did this time was manage to get the correct connector from a breaker car and remove the connector from the car and repin the correct version on.  Actually quicker to to do than trimming the 3 bits of plastic off each side.

    Nissan 350z GT4 limited 35th Anniversary model.

Number 30/176 produced by Nissan in association with Sony for the release of Gran Turismo 4 playstation game in 2005.

This was the first 350z that was produced with the Rev up engine producing 297bhp.
Being pre 2006 registration it benefits from the lower road tax bracket.

A handful of the 176 cars were ordered with the Nismo V1 body kit and this is one of the lucky ones.
It also has the benefits of being GT spec so it has Brembo brake calipers, cruise control, sat nav and heated leather seats.

Also being the GT4 model it comes with the 18" 5 spoke wheels that where only available with this car.

The car is totally standard except for the pioneer stereo and the nismo s-tune graphics that I added last month.  They can be easily removed if not to your taste.

It has 79k miles, nonfaukts on last MOT and will gets it's next service before the sale which will complete it's full service history.

It still has the original 3 keys which is very rare.

    3 previous owners.

Very healthy engine and gearbox with no oil leaks or consumption. No knocks or rattles from the suspension.

Being a 18 year old car the paintwork needs a good polish but overall it's very tidy and been well looked after.
No rust underside with the original W brace and kidney brackets still on the car.

This is now a collectors car so will hold or increase in value.

  7. Hi. I'm having a similar issue. After checking and changing loads I'm putting it down to bad fuel so I've currently taken out the coils packs. Removed the spark plugs and burned the bad fuel from them.  Letting the chambers air out for a day then putting it all back together and firing it.  I've done it around 6 times now and each time it's getting a little better. Hopefully soon it'll fire into life properly.   Ps I'm not a mechanic but just going via advice from others.  Hope it helps you.

Just to keep information correct, if you are fitting the newer lights it won't be a rev up engine.

Hi Davy......mine is as it's a GT4 35th anniversary which were the first cars that came with the rev up engine but still had the older lights and interior.  Obviously it dost apply to the general rev up models that came with the facelift parts.

Another point for the OP to consider is to be weary of the cars that were "older" but happened to be registered late and fall into the higher tax band

  9. I currently own all 3 engine variants and have owned many more in the past.  I do prefer the looks of the HR facelift cars. Mine are not daily drivers si I  can't justify paying the £600+ road tax on the HR.  So for that my rev up wins and it gets taxed all year round.  Feels just as fast plus I am fitting the newer lights to it as I prefer the looks of them.

    Paul

  10. Yes the first cars that had the revup engine were the limited edition 2005 GT4. They did not have the upgraded facelift headlights or rear lights.

Once the standard run of rev up started they received the facelift lights and they carried over to the HR engines.

  12.

If you don't know about these cars please read on. I've been in the 350z community since 2005 and have owned many 350's, 370z and a GTR in that time.

There was only about 1500 of these cars built in Japan. They were not available in the UK.

They have the 3.5L HR engine in them.
These Nismo versions were sent to the Autech factory and had extra strengthening carried out, extra seam welds and reinforcement in key areas.

They have the nismo v3 body kit
Forged rays alloys which are 18" fronts and 19"rears.
Yamaha suspension damper with nismo springs
    Nismo exhaust system
    Brembo brakes
Yamaha front and rear chassis damper bars behind front bumper and below rear strut tower.
    Nismo gauge cluster
The interior is slightly different to the standard 350z. It has grey with red stitching on the seats, door cards and steering wheel.
This model is even Rarer due to having the auto tiptronic gearbox. It also has been fitted with carbon fibre paddles in Japan to make gear changing more fun.
Car currently has 36000 miles on it.

I've just had it fully resprayed in the original factory colour.
A previous owner had someone roll into the rear of him and replaced the rear bumper with a fibreglass version. This wasn't fitting of the car so I bought a genuine v3 bumper and had it professionally fitted. While doing this we notice the metal skin under the bumper was dented in so I have it removed and a new piece welded in to keep it all perfect even the bits you don't see.  I have all pictures to show the work carried out by the body shop.
The car also had the spoiler, roof, mirrors painted dark grey which did look nice but I wanted to return it to a more factory look. Bumper, bonnet and roof had some stone chips so I ended up just getting the full car done in the factory paint so now it's perfect.

The car has being mapped using Uprev by Chris at Dynatune in East Kilbride making 276whp so 317bhp.

The car is totally standard apart from Torqen high flow cats and modified rear back box for more noise.
An up to date pioneer stereo and I've replaced to rubber intake pipes to silicone as the rubbers ones started to crack.
I've also replaced the gallery gaskets which are weak on all the early HR engine cars.

These cars are only going up in value now and getting harder to find in Japan. Last one I seen with this mileage was £25k plus import fees, tax and vat.
In America there are now selling for $40,000 for low mileage ones.
A great car to invest in and enjoy as well.

    £25000

  13. hi. i have a 2007 facelift bumper from a convertible.  it currently has a carbon fibre lip on it as well.  It's black. Pretty sure it not damaged but I'll get a better look at it for you if interested.  Send me private message and I'll get your phone number for sending pictures.

    Thanks Paul

Omg what a site, so rare, what would you value these at?

My silver nismo is up for sale just now for £25000, currently they are about £30k to get one from Japan to the UK with low mileage. And in America they are about $40,000 according to the nismo Members pages. The 380RS is pretty hard to gauge now as I've not seen one for sale for about 6 months. Last one I saw was around £45,000
