  1. Stew book us a room im coming over lol :teeth: Need your translater to translate something to your secretary. Ménage à trois? cant figure out what it means ;):p

UUURRRRRGGGHHHH........ what you, Stew and the secretary! :scare:

  2. This is the longest thread ive ever seen :scare:

    Well it is Sarnies!

Therefore most of it is b8ll*x.......

Anyway, I think one of the Wales threads was longer...... B) At least that was about something worthwhile.

I'm going to stop adding to this now though! :p

  3. I'd be interested in Sway bars (or anti roll bars as we cal them here :teeth: )

I'd want them adjustable and might as well do front and rear :)

    Adam, suggestions?

I think the Hotchkiss ones are adjustable...... not seen much about them here, but know they are big in the states.

They fit em on all the cars on "Overhaulin" ;)

  4. From my own experinece, the more you try and protect something, the more likely damage is to occur...................Murhpy's Law.

Yeah and from my experience, the more cliche advice you give, the worse your spelling gets! :p:boxing:

And from my experience, the cocky ones do not get anywhere in life ;)

And from my experience, he who posts lasts is a post whore! :p

That being either you or our custard coloured soapbox friend! ;)

  5. Yes its the people that strive to get that base model 3 series, so they can pose to their neighbours and think, I've made it in life......

Then they drive around like they are soooo much better than everyone else. I've given up on the amount of idiotic driving i've seen from someone in a 3 series beemer! Agree with what you say about the higher models although I have seen some right "bar stewards" driving like kn8bs in M3s!!

I only honestly feel that I couldn't buy a BMW out of principle, no matter how good the cars are! For example, think Kev's 6 series is nice, like the M6..... and I actually quite like the look of the twin turbo 3 series coupe etc, but I just couldn't do it.....

  7. I parked about 300m away from a clients house today cos I didn't like the look of the kerbs outside his house :scare:

Mate, I think thats a "little" excessive. I think a 2 ft distance would have done for you, like your normal parking! ;)

  8. I think you will find that all Volks are Chromed. They are chrome on alloy. The reason I say this is I read a number of threads where Volk users in the US had kerbed the wheels and since this removed the layer of chrome the damage cannot be easily polished out as the metal underneath is a different colour.

Work Wheels are polished alloy... ;)

Bottom line. Stay clear of any kerbs......

Just imagine Sarnie driving down the middle of every road now! :p

  9. Gonna be getting my shiny new 350z on 12th june, and i'm counting down the days till it arrives, as soon as i get it i'll post some pics and let you know how it compares to the mk2 i test drove. Do guys reckon i should spray the carbon fibre veilside spoiler or leave as is, i can't make my mind up, take it easy, al

    Welcome Al!

So did you order the Veilside spoiler through the dealer??

Just didn't think you'd have that option. I take it you mean you've ordered to add on etc on your own?

  10. Sarnies sig is not as wide as some of yours could the hieght of his sig not be compensated???

Not really as its the height that causes us to get to a point where you have 4 post per page (not there yet, but it soon gets there)...... I don't width is as bad as height.

To be honest, it wouldn't look any worse if he went within the guidelines like everyone else, he's just being an arse (as per normal) :p

  11. How's everyone doing? Not been on here for a while! Holly and I will be @ Jap Fest, Silverstone june 3rd, Pod end of June and JAE. Anyone going to these shows? Be good to see some old faces again!

I'll be on the MLR stand so will have to track you down B)

Good to see you again Nick!

I can't make JAE this year as stag do in Berlin! Will have to try to get some of the other meets though!

  12. I haven't mate, all I am basing it on are these pictures and website.

btw the second picture is supposedly the same colour car under harsh lighting.

Mmmmm I love the look of the orange in that first pic! Looks exactly the same as the sort of orange I love. I've seen the dealers press pack yesterday for 07 model and it looks much paler in that (but it was a graphic pic, not an actual pic)......

The second pic looks more like UY than orange!

Keep me informed Simon if you get any more decent pics?

There are some good ones in the my350z.com link, some on page 3 that you can actually see the pearl fleck in the paint.... ;)

  13. Get a Nissan estimate of repair.

    I have :D

It's now been written off, estimated repair cost got close to 22k, at which point they decided to write the car off and simply replace it with a new one.

2007 Temper Orange Nismo GT has been ordered and due mid August :D

    Simon,

Have you managed to see anthing in the flesh (colour sample) etc about the Orange?

I have to admit to being interested, dying to see one on the flesh etc....

  14. It's been a really bad week and to top it all off I scraped my front nearside alloy in a car park on Monday. I'm so upset its taken me a week just to talk about it. :(

Has anyone used Diamond Wheels in Stockport for a repair? I found a thread suggesting them but there wasn't any actual feedback on there.

    Digsy,

I talked to these guys about refurbing the volks etc that I bought (that sold to Liam). Seemed decent enough and honest about difficulties for them in reparing diamond cut lips etc.....

To be honest, they will want to know all about your wheels then should give you an honest answer etc. Someone one mentioned them originally but I didn't end up using them as decided to sell the wheels etc!

Think you'll be ok though..... There was a place in Brum I found as well that was meant to be good. But I think i ripped up the contact details last week!
