Not unknown for the coil packs to be incorrectly connected to the wrong plugs.

Just realised what I said, been a long day.
The original handbrake must stay for MOT and scrutineering, the hydro handbrake will break into the rear brake lines and operate the rear calipers, it’s has nothing to do with the hand brake shoes.

The timing of the 370 onto the market in 2009 was a commercial disaster with the financial climate at the time, and I do wonder if Nissan have targeted markets for the 400 where spare money is more available in a shrinking market for petrol guzzlers.
Europe and the UK in particular have clearly put their marker down that non-fossil fueled cars are the future, no doubt prompting Nissan to not be bitten again, with the writing on the wall that anyone other than true sports car enthusiasts (and those with more money than they no what to do with ) are likely to risk forking out their hard-earned cash on something that will be increasingly tax targeted.
As nice as twin turbo V6 might appeal and no doubt the final detail renderings will react to initial feedback from the teasers released, my head will, sadly, not let my heart yearn for another Z given a combination of the financial climate and the green agenda.

Yep, waiting for a new tandem cylinder one to arrive.
After sitting in position with eyes closed and feeling for a natural position, I have decided it will be fitted in the space between the gear stick and steering wheel.
We had a great weekend on the car, I will put the updates up tomorrow.
Are you using it with the separate OEM handbrake assembly or adapting the rear discs to accommodate a new handbrake system, given the OEM system is not exactly that efficient for road use, let alone for rallying I would have thought?

Stunning example, and a great condition/spec I see from the ad

Load of unsold DE's came from Ireland over a couple of years after the HR was launched. No doubt others left unsold in UK dealers which no doubt led to some bargains to be had.

If Cambridge is not too far, then Disc Skimmers are your answer - see here:

Maybe intact from this build?

Do you expect there still to be significant weight savings over the Zeds's OEM weight once the roll cage/sumpguard/lights and other necessary add-ons for rallying are in place? Do the Regs require you to keep all the metal body panels, or can any be replaced with lightweight panels?
Just curious, knowing that the Zeds major achilles heel that affects its performance is its weight.

Years back on here the favourite idea for a lot of members was to have a retracting plate that turned through 90 degrees into a recess in the grille and was barely visible when retracted. Great for shows.

Just superb

Testing with a mechanical gauge first to see the true pressure is your best option.

When I had vibrations on my 370 it was sorted out by Marcus @ Disc Skimmers:
http://discskimmers.com/contact/
My issue turned out to be using 3mm slip spacers (with 20mm spacers) that had warped - alloy too soft. Well worth the drive up from Surrey for me - as local Nissan dealer had no idea. I know a number of owners on here have used his services and the feedback on his work was like mine - Excellent!

Long time since I owned a 350, but as I recall on UK supplied Zeds the fog light operation is included in the light stalk. I'm saying that as I am puzzled by what button/switch it is you are using on the steering wheel to bring up the warning foglight warning icon in the gauges that is addition to the headlights 'on' warning icon?
So the headlamp (not sidelights) must be switched on for it to work. Spotted this info in a member's post:
"just noticed this this morning.... if you have headlights and rear fog light on, when you turn the headlights off, the fog light also clicks off at the same time. similarly if you just turn the fogs on without turning the headlights on, it will automatically click on the side lights - however you then need to use the headlight control to switch on dipped beams."
Otherwise, sorry I can't help further.

Looks a good day out

Would recommend a days one2one at Cat Driver Training with Colin Hoad. Helped me to explore the limits of the Zed on the various test tracks at Bedford, and once you have done that the confidence levels are on a different level! Money very well spent IMO.

Saw them back in October 2018 at Goodwood at a prospective owners invitation day.
Happened on it by chance and have to say in the flesh they looked very tempting and the power to weight ratio no doubt makes them a tremendous drive. Main issue for me is lack of Alpine dedicated dealers anywhere near me and a previous Renault ownership with dreadful build quality still lingers - hopefully unjustified now.
Huge misfire

Good news, but as Alex says given the garage cocked up with the coils and if you did not specify the correct plugs adds to suspicion they were not not careful about plug choice.
