Hi. Im a new member having just picked up a 2003 350z convertible.

It has a problem with the electric roof, I am hoping someone on here will be able to help me. 

I bought it with the roof not working, no sign of life at all. Mechanic tested motors and said they are fine and it’s probably a wiring or sensor issue. 
 

He says his diagnostic equipment is not able to access the roof modules required functions to get the readings and to pinpoint the fault. 
also he says the diagram for the Uk spec and the import car are different so best to find someone who’s had experience on these. 

Id appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. 

I am in the Bedfordshire area but can travel within reason if need be.
