  1. Looking good. I found the autoglym polar disappointing as well for the same reasons. Just about used mine up now..
  2. I've never heard of this but sounds great. Can you point me in the direction of a tank? I'm not sure what I'm looking at, and everything I see seems to be inline..
  3. What about having the car transported to the garage? Quotes from shiply.com can be found surprisingly cheap.
  4. Cuvva.com? I've never actually used them but afaik they offer short term insurance for single days, even by the hour. Other than that best deal I've been able to get for myself in the past has been 30 day insurance. For a single day the prices were silly.
  5. Sorry I can't help with the settings but wondering where you got the ring and pinion from please?
  6. I paid £27. Think it was only £40 on the gate? Which admittedly was quite a lot to ask given there wasn't as much on this year.
  7. There were GT86s absolutely everywhere! Seems like they have really good aftermarket support as well.
  8. Still doesn't do it justice really. Hopefully I'll get some decent ones at Japfest on Saturday.
  9. My email from Japfest says vehicles must be on club stands by 9:30am. Are we aiming to be there by 8am just avoid queuing or something? Gonna be a very early one!
  10. Glad to see the thread resurrected! I run black diamond discs but never tried the pads.
  11. Also worth popping off the side skirts and clearing out the trapped muck.
  12. I feel like 4 hours isn't enough time so you would have to be very selective about what you tackle. E.g kidney brackets are usual suspects for rust but there's a chance they will put up a fight removing them.
  13. I think this is a nice video to watch if you haven't already:

    General help

How hard are you accelerating when you hear the clunk?
  15. I've seen those cracks before on other bumpers. There's a silver one on eBay atm. Must be a weak point I guess..
  16. My main worry, and I don't know if it's even a concern is that fibreglass would be a PITA to get the eventual stone chips repaired over a normal plastic material.
  17. I recently got my car back from a local bodyshop. It was in for some cosmetic work to bring some of the panels I wasn’t happy with back to tip top condition. None of the work was massively required, but when I bought the car I wasn’t able to be picky over the paintwork and over ~5 years of ownership you ‘get to know’ all of the swirls and dings etc. A lot of the things I do on the car are preventative so when I saw a couple of match head size chips turning into a rusty colour I knew it was time to get a professional on the job. I’ve since had full dent removal on both doors as well as full and proper repainting of the drivers door, boot hatch, rear quarters, fuel cap and roof. To finish a full polish was done. The frontend needs some tidying up as well but I’m undecided what I want to do in that area. I like the idea of a Nismo kit but I’m not 100% on it just yet so for now the bodyshop just went over the bonnet and bumper with some chipex and I polished the headlights to cheer it up. I’ve got myself some Gtechniq C4 trim restorer for the now faded plastics and last week I went round all the weather seals with some gummi fledge (however it’s spelt..). Reason I’m unsure about a Nismo kit is the fibreglass aspect of it but unless I’m mistaken some of the genuine kits are fibreglass also. Maybe V1 is fibreglass and V2 is poly.. unsure. All in all the work looks great, but now I find myself parking even further away from everyone else in the car park and being ever more careful getting in and out of my garage The paintwork feels like glass now, so my washing routine will likely get more stringent. I posted not so long ago about the braking performance of the Brembo callipers, so next on my agenda is to give them a bleed. Next week I’m also having new stainless flanges welded onto my OEM cats since I can just start to feel some exhaust gasses escaping. I saw a great video on YouTube of a guy rust proofing the underside of his zed. I’d love to do the same over the winter but in a single garage it’s just not viable for me and I’d never leave the car outside on my driveway so I’m getting quotes in for some underbody treatment including replacement of the kidney brackets. I’ll have to upgrade my phone or borrow a decent camera to take some nice pics to go with the post but I’ll be at Japfest so hope to see a few of you there.
  18. I really want to like the styling.. but I just dont. The blue imo looks the better of the 2 in my opinion and I think the interior, particularly the seats look great. The engine and drivetrain specs should make it a blast. Probably with the turbo setup we are going to see a lot of high bhp tuned cars coming along in the future.
  19. I just had the same email. I thought I had ordered a display pass already along with my club tickets but upon checking my email/PDF confirmation there was no mention of it so I just ordered it again. Once I did that I got an email from them saying that the event organiser will be in touch shortly with how to redeem the display pass. It goes on to say that club vehicle passes will be emailed out separately prior to the event so I guess we just need to wait for an email nearer the time.
  20. I bought a CTEK MXS 7.0 during lockdown and it's been spot on for trickle charging. The connectors are really good - I just disconnect, and tuck them inside the bay when I want to go for a drive.

    350z Nismo Parts

Appreciate what I'm looking for is probably quite rare, but maybe someone has any of the following in either used or new condition lying around or bought and never got round to fitting etc. Genuine items are nice, but I'm open to replicas. V3 rear spoiler (Will consider V1) V1 front bumper V1 side skirts HR bonnet (or carbon in DE or HR style) Thanks
