  1. Bit late but thought I'd let you know what I went for in the end!

    2018 S4 (B9 Model)

    Very different to the Zed but does everything I need it to. Safe, comfy and fuel friendly in eco mode when I have the kids in or for long trips with a boot full of stuff and frigging fast and loud in Dynamic mode when I'm late for work after the school run!

    Still miss the Zed every day but this is what I need right now. Will see what happens further down the line maybe I'll be back behind the wheel of one if there are any still about in a few years time!

    What is it about Work wheels that make them

    SO DAMN SEXY:throb:?

    Glwts:thumbs:

    I know. They are such an amazing brand of wheel and the pics just don't do them justice. If they don't sell I may just mount them on the wall instead until I get hold of another Zed further down the line and put them back on!

  3. PRICE - £1400

    ** IMAGES BELOW ADVERT **

    If you have been on the forum recently you may have spotted that I recently sold by lovely Zed. The final bits that are now ready for sale are the wheels I had for “show season” / Summertime.

    They are a custom set of Work D9R wheels and honestly they look absolutely stunning on a 350z. They have only been used for 2 Summers so have barely seen any miles & have been stored in bags & kept indoors half of their life.

    Specs are as follows:

    Front = 18 x 9.5 et12

    Tyres = 225/45/18

    Rear =  18 x 10.5 et15

    Tyres = 285/35/18

    I run these wheels with about 2-3 degree of camber and I had the arches rolled a few mm to fit them nicely.

    Tyres are Falken FK510’s and have plenty of life left in them, see images below for tread wear.

    The wheels are in excellent condition, very light scuffs around the rim on the fronts where we had a slight issue once where deep cleaning them, but it’s barely noticeable from a few feet away & I’m sure they could be polished up very easily if needed.

    All wheels come with original Work centre caps, original Work metal air valves & official Work paperwork from the factory, I’m pretty sure it’s difficult to get all this in one go second hand these days I’m just a massive OCD nut who likes everything to be kept pristine where possible.

    I won’t courier these as they are too expensive & nice to risk being damaged in transit so collection only from 20mins outside of Chester (CH1).

    The wheels are big, so make sure you come in a suitable vehicle as they take up a lot of space!

    To order this set new would cost in the region of £2300, not to mention a huge wait – so if you want a set of exceptionally well made wheels which include everything, wheels, tyres, caps, valves, paperwork, these are what you need.

    I’m avoiding advertising on Facebook / Pistonheads / Ebay etc at the moment as I would like them to go to a forum member, but please get in touch if you are interested.

  4. Well that was a bummer, the buyer ran into some insurance issue so can no longer proceed with the purchase. I've relisted it on here again as for sale but please make sure you check your insurance carefully before committing to buying the car.

    I'm gutted for him but also a little bit happy as atleast I get a little more time with her now!

  5. Right then, seems my Zed sold a hell of a lot faster than I thought I would, which leaves me with a relatively small amount of time in which to replace it!

    Wonder what people in a similar situation to me have gone for after their Zeds, things I need to factor in are:

    * £20K - 25K

    * 4 Doors

    * 4 Seats

    * Decent Boot

    * Same speed / power as a Zed minimum - shouldn't be too hard in this day and age!

    * Nice modern day cabin

    At the moment I keep looking at "Zee GermanZ" as they seem to be ticking all the boxes, but just thought I'd see what other people have gone for after their Zeds.

    Somebody going to have a very cared for and good looking Zed :)

    Indeed they are. I don't think I'll ever get over selling this. I was genuinely gutted when he text saying he would have it, which is a stupid thing to say I know but I really do love the car!

    Those pics really show off how well kept Zed is.

    I'm sure it will sell easily.

    All the best and who knows, we may see you return to the OC in another Zed in the future;)........or maybe A GTR:teeth:.

    Selling the Zed is no reason to leave the OC either so stay aboard:thumbs:

    Thanks mate. I will genuinely be upset to see her go but I know she needs to be driven not just sat on the drive looking pretty. I'll defo stay in the community and whilst a GTR is nice I'm afraid that firstly they are too expensive and secondly im a zed man all day so I'll hopefully be back with another in a few years once the kids are a bit bigger.
