Hello all,
So finally I have decided to check my fault codes 😅. The only one that came up was the B1145 & B1129 for the airbag light being on. From only having s quick look it's seems to be something to do with the seat?
Could someone be so kind to clue me up with this please.

So I have just bought a V3 bumper to go on my 350 and I have been told that there will be quite a gap from the bumper to the engine under tray. I have been told that you can make one and people have on the forum. Could someone be so kind to send me a link to the treat please.

How do ladies and gents,
Just wondered if anyone has used Quantum in their 350z as it used to be made by castrol back in the day and I know a lot of your guys and gals use that. I have used it loads in my minis but was thinking should I use it in my 350z?

So I thought I would create a thread for my 350z project. So as some of you might know I have bought a 2004 DE 350z. Now she is a category N from Copart but all honestly she looks in pretty good nick. From the car arriving yesterday I have noticed that the previous owner who sold it through Copart has tarted it up before selling by putting another bumper that used to be orange and has been badly rattle caned 🤣, badly scratch silver bonnet and a new headlight. From what I see this was to hide the damage to the NSF. The car runs really well and gearbox seems good which is the great news. I am going to need a few bits like a NSF wing, front bumper which i am looking for an N2 and possibly a bonnet depending how much and it being in grey. That's the start so far as I haven't gone over it to much as that will be today. I am going to be making YouTube videos of this build like I have done with previous cars encase anyone is interested and can follow the progress and give me some hints and tips throughout 👍. The first video will be coming out this week possibly today. Be great to see some of you guys on there.

As far as i can see, there's a few you tube vids of people removing & striping down the 350Z engine and there's also the workshop manual. I know there's also one are two other members who've done but i haven't found their posts yet, but will share if i do.
Anyway, here's a link to my post. There's not much in it as i've just started, but i won't be removing the engine due to garage space, I'm just starting from the top and working my way down, taking pics and documenting every stage,

I also did a mini cooper s rebuild a few years back. It was the R56 engine, infamous for chain death rattle which I thought was all it needed replacing, but ended up needing a new block! Anyway, it was a cracking motor once I rebuilt it, happy days....

Hello Neil,
Not sure on the state of the car yet as it won't be delivered for about a week.
Funny enough the first mini both are r56 n14s. The first one was the tensioner that went so needed fully stripping down due to the chain going and broke a oil jet. The second a piston went through the block so got a new engine so as I knew nothing about the engine I stripped that down also.
But once the Z is here regular videos will be on YouTube.

How do ladies and gents,
Good to see you all. So after 5 years of selling my old 350z for a house deposit I am back 😁.
So for the last year since owning my house I have had quite a few projects. It all started with my childhood family Lotus Excel which needed restoring. From that point I got the bug 😁. So i had an Hyundai I30N at this point which I did styling mods and also create a youtube channel of these projects. I then purchase my next big project which was a Mini cooper s. That was a full engine rebuild which I have never done before and the misses decided she wanted it 🤣 so no mods on that. Then it was a volvo xc90 and another Mini.
I always missed my 350Z and thought from selling the xc90 and making a bit of profit it's given me enough to see if can find a project 350z and as of Friday I have 😁. So I will be doing regular videos on the Z if anyone is interested. They will be from start to finish from repairs to modifications.
Incidentally as I have been out of the Z life for a little while can someone be so kind to give me the list of what things to check. She is a 2004 DE with 108k on the clock she is a CAT N from Copart but from what I can see the reason for this is the rear bumper only that looks OK but due to the age the insurance have just wrote her off. I was wondering if anyone knows of the car the reg is WF04KYZ. I did a Car Vertical check and it didn't pinpoint the damage but from the photos it just seems the OSR part of the bumper has had a slight knock.
sorry for waffling on I look forward to this project and will be no doubt pestering you all for information, hints and tips throughout.

Good afternoon Ladies and Gents,
I am looking to get a new bumper as it might be more cost effective than repairing mine. I like both the V2 & V3 and would prefer to be in KYO. Also need a KYO NSF wing needs to mint no rust or dents and also my cloth drivers seat is ripped so i am thinking of getting a pair of bucket seats with rails but prefer to have tilted ones please.

Good morning All,
I have been looking on the site for this info which i have found the information to program the key to do the locking and unlocking. However, i have not seen anything on how to program the new key to start the car.
I have a JDM 2004 which only has one key now i do want to get a second. Do i have to take the car to nissan or is there an way to program the key to start as well as unlocking?

I have found out today that my car has a VLSD so would the above link KE907-99932 be the correct oil?

Hello Alex,
How can i tell if i have a LSD or VLSD? i do have the chassis number if that helps.
So the KE916-99931 (MT-XZ) gearbox oil is for manuals.

Hey guys so I have got rid if B1145 as it needed a new curtain airbag. But I still have a solid airbag light on which is still showing Code B1129(Right Side Module). This car was a crashed damaged one so would I need a new module? Also can someone tell me the location of this please.
