I know this is an old thread, but thought I'd jump on. I have a jdm 52 plate and I'm doing some work on the door panels. At some point mine has had uk mirrors put on as they only have a 5 pin connector as opposed to the 7 pin coming out the car door so it could be that

Hi all,
I'm after a Nismo 350z Gear Knob for a 350z. Ideally I want one I can screw straight onto the shift rather then sodding about with an adapter. Wondered if anyone had a spare laying around perhaps?
Cheers

Lovely Job ta,
Plenty to keep me going on this which is good.
Looking around, other then the Torqen repair kit for spark grommets etc. I've just found these on ebay as a cheaper replacement:

Whats your thoughts as its a saving of nearly £150

Good call on the air filter clean out. I think the oil was done on the service a couple of weeks ago. Will have to look at the paperwork:D

So, after finding out today that I'm being furloughed for a couple of months, I'm going to take the time to work on the 350.
I'm going to be putting in a plenum spacer and also replacing the rocker covers, with spark plug grommets etc.
Whilst I'm diving headlong into the engine bay, is there anything that I should be replacing at this stage in the engine, I've changed all the sparks and coil packs only last week.
Appreciate any ideas
Cheers

Hi Paul, sorry for the late reply. Just haven't had a chance to get on the forum lately. If you've still got this, drop me a pm and let me know how much your looking for.

So, in the end, I had this repaired but low and behold, it's come back again and a few body shops now have said it should never have been repaired rather it should have been replaced.

I had little Google about and ended up getting an oem one off ebay for £40. I'll look at replacing that after Xmas again maybe. I just couldn't believe it. For it to just sheer like that is mad

So on the way home today, changing into 3rd only doing about 35, my shift snapped. To say i pooped myself is an understatement. I never actually installed this in the car and it was already in when i bought it. It looks like a japspeed one but i'm not sure. I presume I will have to buy a new short shift, or is this repairable? And has this happened to anyone before?

I'm after a full set of bolt Caps to cover the 10mm bolts that hold the rear lights in place. Don't know why I don't have any, they weren't there when I bought the car. I think its six if I remember rightly.

So i'm off to Japan next year and I'm hopefully going to try and pick up a new remote key for my JDM 350. So my question is, will I be able to get a company in the UK to program the fob to my car or is this going to be difficult to do. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Cool cheers for the help. I'm going to invest in a Stormforce cover for now. Hopefully will only be off the road for a couple of months while I sort stuff out.

It's a sad day. I've had to take my 350z off the fair for the near future due to costs etc so she is now sorn. The 350z is being stored on a drive away and I need to get a cover etc. Anyone know of a good cover to buy or any tips needed for storage of these?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
