  1. I used to have the oem plastic one, it eventually broke away and became useless. I changed the front bumper to the new Nismo one and needed something rigid for perfect fitment.

Can't speak for Zspeed but the Torqen one fits perfectly. Rigid aluminium, has been finished so it's not razor sharp and comes with the required hardware. Wish I'd bought one sooner!

It was more exciting on track though, wondering if a stone would pierce my oil filter

  3. Just as an FYI I took the 380RS to the GT Scotland meet but it was a bit of a washout with the weather being so poor - nobody had a clue what the car was, either! Didn't bat an eyelid letting me park next to the Porsches though so clearly looked like it belonged.

Club Turismo (the wee car club Jeff & I are in) have confirmed our stand at the Scottish Car Show again this year so if you fancy feasting your eyes on a Honda NSX, Top Secret Gold GTR demo car, Stillen Supercharged 370z & of course Jeff & My own Zeds - be sure to come along :-)

I appreciate some of you will be doing the Crail Track Day on the Saturday so you might be convinced to make a weekend of it!

Hope to see some of you there. :-)

Is there another stillen charged 370z in Scotland? Who's got that one?

  4. I did this last month with the same stuff, as the boot was already stopped when I bought the car. Road noise and exhaust vibration was terrible at 2000rpm , about 40% coverage made a massive difference. No boot vibration, I might apply some to the doors as suggested. Might post some pics tomorrow if anyone's interested.

  5. Was it a red Scottish SCd 370Z? If so the normal belt for a Stillen kit doesn't fit as the original owner fitted an extra idler to get around a belt slip issue.

    The plot thickens ;)

  6. Hi i've recently bought a stillen charged 370 (2009), and for my own peace of mind i'm going to give it a full service. I'm going to change the

    engine oil,

    vortech sc oil,

main drive belt (looks like it needs it)

    blower belt looks fine.

    oil filter

add a non existent pollen filter (nissan parts told me they don't fit one from new)

and it need two exhaust gaskets.

    Gearbox oil

    and diff oil.

I'm struggling to find the part number of the serpentine drive belt, it's worn off. Stillen don't list it in the stillen manual either.

If you can recommend parts and places (UK if possible) to purchase them from, that will be a great help.

What fluid is in the supercharger reservoir?

I know a couple of you have this supercharger so some experienced advice would be appreciated.

    Evening mate

I'm sure Adrian will be along shortly he doesn't miss a trick ;)

That's the oil I run in my supercharger

And I run motul 300v 5w 30 in the engine

    Hope this helps

Which belt is it your after ? A stillen part or Nissan part ?

As far as I'm aware it's a stillen part or generic. The main drive belt (auxillary or serpentine belt), I think it replaces the Nissan part because the charger needs it to be much longer.

If I just ordered the standard Nissan 370z one it would be too short.

Any oil filter preferences, fram is stillens recommendation, I've seen a few people use the k&n one. I pretty sure hundreds are compatible, but know idea how gauge one over another
