  1. Mileage doesn't matter if it's been looked after. Plenty of people on here have 100-200k mileage cars with low bills (yes it shocked me too).

Only way to tell would be inspecting the log book and seeing what's been changed? And how regularly it was done... I'm sure some of the people familiar with the engine here could tell you some signs to look out for.

  2. I just paid £9700 for my import B). That looks like a proper import though (all jap stuff) - Could you live with the GPS etc in Japanese? From what I hear the stock GPS isn't that good anyway (no postcode entry).

The Japanese service history would turn me off - But that's a lot of car for not a lot of money. Also there's no GT options on that, surely you can find a UK one for similar price?

The trip box is smooth as butter though, and kick down is nice.

If you can't find a decent import and can settle for manual... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p

  3. I'm in Cheam itself .

Unfortunately my mod plans are now on hold... as it looks like business is taking me away from London at the end of the year. :byebye:. Needless to say she will be sold is all goes through before Jan.

I shall make the most of the next few months :teeth: and if it doesn't work out I'll get to keep the zed, so it's win win!

  4. as i know u live close to me, there is a place in croydon that were pretty good and sorted out my scorpion. (cant remember the name but will find out.)

also there is a VERY small indy in mitcham, near the green. he's called Keith and is a grumpy sod but good at his job. he will fit you in im sure. has ramps and has worked on my mates Zed. he sorted my Mrs clio and was good. again i will find out the name and tel number for you.

Is it JD motors by any chance for the Croydon place? I've heard good things about them... and they're in my lineup for body repair.

The anticipation of owning the 350 is killing me. It's exactly 11 days today :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

  5. downpipe?turbo?

or have you bought manifolds?(expensive to fit)

    as for kwikfit :scare:

    Sorry... meant mid pipe ;)

I've been eyeing Abbey up since I got on here, it's a nice little drive from me through country... so at least I'd have fun getting there and back :snack: .

It's also just occured to me... that despite not taking delivery of it yet, I've managed spec around £600 worth of mods?!?!

  6. At the end of the month, I'll be grabbing the scorpion exhaust with downpipe for my Z.

I know the job is easy, but I also know removing bolts etc can prove hard without fire. I think it would be much easier to toss it on a ramp, and work with room!

Can anyone recommend places in Surrey where I can get the exhaust fitted for cheap? Even for the price of a case of beer!

I'm somewhat reluctant to let KwikFit touch the defenceless zed :yuck: .

  7. Mine is Z33... but imported by Nissan UK, so thus not considered an import :D.

Mine is the only one I've seen with that history though... Can't say I'm a fan of the stickers on that!

The roof and windscreen looks pretty however.

  8. Square number plate is a good first indicator...

    Lack of Cruise Control

    Lack of steering wheel buttons

Power button next to the handbrake labelled SNOW / AC / POWER

Biggest one of all, trip trans (I love it)

  9. Even better...

    NISSAN 350Z GT COUPE

    3499cc, 2 door, 2003 - 2007, Petrol, Manual

    Not the right vehicle?

We've found your vehicle and think it:

    Is right-hand drive

    Is a saloon

    Has 5 seats

    Is not imported

Has Thatcham-approved category 1 alarm and immobiliser

I suppose you could fit 3 in the boot...

  10. Just down the road then :) I have a foam lance, 2 buckets with grit guards, Bh clay, Ag srp, poor boys natural interior paste, symbol wax and loads of other jazz. I have a huge drive if you wanna come over clean :) I should have the car by Friday so will commence cleaning then as I have the day off.

    This just makes me sad.

My little Z doesn't arrive until 28th September... :byebye:. If I had it, I would most certainly take you up on that though, got a fair bit of cleaning gear myself, luckily my interior is already spotless!

  11. I'm in Cheam buddy. I'm going to be doing some work on my car (first time too), don't have a paint gauge... but need to get a minor section of bumper resprayed so I will ask nicely at the garage to borrow it and gauge the main areas of my car :p.

Mine has never been polished, so I'm certain the paint is in fine condition (2006) and should have a sufficient coating.

There are plenty of tutorials online, I recommend the ChemicalGuys videos on youtube, really good instruction from start to finish including pads you need etc.

  12. If this was 20 days down the line I'd say yes... just about to get my DA at end of the month :yahoo: .

It will also be getting a seeing to on my new 350z! Have you looked at the paintwork and confirmed it actually has swirls etc?

  13. Josh, do you have a direct link to the one you got? Was it the 3" for the Z?

I'm curious about installing one of these... would people on the forum be able to help fit it, or am I looking at a professional shop like h-dev who specialise in 350z's?

If I had an Ace Torch and welder I would tackle it myself :p .
